Terrible movie. Couldn't stand it. I like the original much better.

This was alright. I think the thrid act was really good, up until the very end. I am not a huge fan of Tim Burton and I could not stand Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. If you want to kill some time this is a decent way to do it, otherwise you could just wait for it to come out on DVD in 10 weeks.

It doesn't have Adam Sandler or fart jokes.


Anyway, just saw this and I liked it, certainly not one of Burton's best, and the Crispin Glover body special effects were terrible. But the movie itself wasn't bad, a thin story, yes, but imaginative as hell, and definitely a "sequel" to the original. Loved a lot of the character design and the world he created was spectacular.
