Amare conducted himself well on and off the court as a member of the SUNS(and yes, that includes the S.A. Nash hip-check game
).....his knee injuries and freak incident eye injury was unfortunate, but he was an offensive force to be reckoned with night in and night out.
He spoke alot about getting better every year(with mixed results),but the fact is that despite his self-enamorous talk.....he DID work hard to rehab, develope a jumpshot and progress as an offensive player in this league. I think we can all agree that had his knees not failed him he could've become something much more in terms of being one of the most offensively dominating PF's in recent memory.
Classy gesture on Amare's part to say thank you to the fans that supported him through the thick and thin of his career here in PHX.
Kudos and good luck Amare''''''''''''''''''''''''''''.
