I'd be willing to help. I have done numerous podcasts/radio shows in college and actually have an all az sports podcast up on azsportshub.com in the podcast section right now. I'm up for helping out however i can and have a mock radio set up in my apt. right now.
I think we should have a podcast. I have no idea how it would work, but it could be awesome.
Bob Chebat and myself actually did an AZProSports.com radio show from Fountain Hills years ago...didn't last long though.
They deserve their own forum.

ahhh... caught you before the edit.
The station is much better since the changed to "The Fan".
It hasn't gotten better from a local perspective. It got better with the formula of addition by subtraction.
No more Bob Kemp? Right on!!

Gotta love the Monday Night Golf Show now. Same with the two hunting shows they have on there.
To be fair, I do like the fantasy football show with Russ Bliss. Also, the Sun Devil Power Hour, with Sam Eschelman is a nice twist. Getting Rocco and Manucci to jump from 860 wasn't bad either, but I think they should be the 12-3 show.
Dropping Bill and moving Kemp from the Afternoon Drive doesn't make sense to me.
No offense but Rock and Manuch don't do a whole lot for me. I guess I just feel if KDUS dropped a few bucks on some decent shows they could compete in a relatively weak market.

I find the show to be a bit bleh myself, but it brought something new to the KDUS airways briefly, although as you said, if they'd pay out the bucks, they could compete.

I can't believe I just saw this thread. Sounds like an awesome idea, I'd be happy to help out wherever I can. Like Espo, I have experience with college radio and podcasting and I also work in the radio business right now (board op). I have a podcast running myself, and I think that's a great way to start.
Oh and you should all listen to ESPO's and BobMan's show and take a look at their site. The show is a good listen and the site looks good too.

I want, no need my own podcast show.. I would love to discuss sports all day in a half drunken state of mind while having random asfn members as guests sometimes on the show.. Admit it, you guys would listen..
Do you have one of those computer microphones? Simplest setup for you would probably be to use something like skype.
