I was thinking, we should probably start thinking about the lottery. Sure, 30-52 won't be the worst record in the NBA, but we might get lucky with the way the balls roll out. I hear there's some "next Grant Hill" playing for Duke this season. I don't really watch college ball, and obviously I won't be able to see the next Lebron James play, but since we're throwing the season, who are we going to draft.

Have the Suns ever gotten lucky in the draft lottery? If you want to start this thread, you should have it focus on the #10-#12 pick, something in that range.

By the way, I don't think it would be the end of the world if the Suns missed the playoffs. I said many times that I thought they would miss them last year, and make them this year. Well, I was already wrong about last year. But really, if they make them once over the past two years, that's still "on schedule" as far as I'm concerned.

Did you guys see that clip of Jerry Colangelo when he's on the phone about the coin toss for Lou Alcindor? When he picks heads and it comes up tails, the expression on his face is priceless.
