May need a QB if not this year then next if for no other other reason than the possible retirement of KW. How about Zac Robinson of Oklahoma State? Tough kid w/ a quick release and a decent arm.

There has been a trade:

The Cardinals trade their 2010 3rd round pick and 2011 3rd round pick for the 24th pick in the 2nd round of the 2010 draft and select...

Case Keenum QB/Houston

:D

Bomb.. CHAMPIONSHIP!

Have any good starting QBs ever come out of the third round? With quarterbacks you either get one in the first round or you get lucky with a guy at the very end of the draft who was completely under-evaluated.

Matt Schaub is the first that comes to mind.

I like Dan LaFevour, of course anybody is looking better than Leinart now.

Tony Pike should be available in the mid second round and he has the potential to be a good NFL QB

I love Zac, he's a gamer, but I'd bet you could get him in the 6th or 7th round. He'd be a project. May want a more polished pro-style qb.

Yeah you're right. He is a project. With the right coaching and good health he might might make it as a QB someday. He's got some decent speed. I didn't realize he switched to QB from WR in college.

Yeah, 30 years ago.

You would think this franchise could draft one, who could be the man. How long has that been, 1980? Lomax.

Namath
Pisarkiweicz
Stouffer
Rusty Lisch
Rick McIvor
Jake
McCown
Leinart?

Oh my goodness, the list keeps growing WOW

It took many years to finally draft a RB, maybe nows the time.

If one of the supposed studs falls to us in the first round do we take him?

As I said in another thread, I would like for us to take a project QB in the mid to later rounds and pick up Marc Bulger who will most likely be cut. Like Warner, give Bulger time to heal and get his confidence back and I feel that he can still be an above average QB in this league if not a top backup to hold the fort until we nurture a future QB.
