Angels' Haren hurts back, may miss start (AP)

Los Angeles Angels right-hander Dan Haren cut short a throwing session in the bullpen Wednesday after feeling discomfort in his lower back. Haren is scheduled to start Saturday against the New York Yankees, but manager Mike Scioscia said before a game against the Kansas City Royals that he's not sure whether that will happen.
