We can't afford to lose any player. We haven't made the playoffs in 10years.
If we'd barely made the playoffs the last ten years then I'd agree with you. As it stands, we don't have anything to lose if you're putting it in the context of playoffs.

i agree he is a proven star......but face it--he's not going to retire a cardinal and he's not happy. It is what it is. Youre going to have to realize that if/when we trade boldin.....the other team is immediatly going to have the upper hand because of the obvious dislike boldin now has for the organization.

people who are expecting to get equal value and/or greater value for boldin in return are just plain nieve.

in other words MCD....we're ****ed

Boldin still has 3 years on his contract. The only one who is screwed is Boldin IMO.

I think the Cardinals would rather have him sit out the season than set a precident ant trade him because he is unhappy. That will just tell other players, hey be a baby and the Cardinals will trade you.

I have vacillated on this. Trade him, don't trade him. We need to keep him. Not just because we do control his contract and I do think that we can work this out. No, the main reason is that we have a few other Rosenhaus clients on our team and one of them is already asking for a new contract. What does this tell Dockett if we bend to Boldin's demand for a trade? He will be doing the same think next year. James, Rolle, Antonio Smith & Watson are also Rosenhaus clients.

If we were going to trade for linemen, I would hope it would be on the other side of the ball, where we have no depth.

i think we can all agree that the state of all sports is becoming so much about the money and "respect" than it is about playing the damn game. Makes me sick....i thought all this crap was above Q but lest we forget..... its all about the big bucks.

sigh

Intrinsically, I said that when he hired Rosenhaus as his agent, it automatically became about the money. At first I wasnt worried because up to this point, it'd seem like the Cards had a fairly good working relationship with Rosenhaus. This is not the case anymore.

This is a rumor made up at a Dallas Message board... NOTHING else....

The Cards are not trading Boldin... end of story..

After the season, maybe Crayton and a 1st (If pick is in top 20), or a 1st and a 2nd if the pick is in the bottom 10,.....

The only way Boldin is traded, is if the Cards get a solid WR AND a 1st in Return....

Ooh! We should trade Boldin for a 2nd rounder and a pro bowler by the name of Leonard Davis. Maybe you've heard of him?

Don't send Q to Dallas, I am physically unable to cheer for anyone or thing wearing that disgusting star.

The rumored trade would be Spears and a one and Miles Austin for Boldin and a third

When I first read this, I thought it said "Miss" Austin and I was a lot more excited about the possibility.

I'm a Boldin fan but do have concerns about his injury history. He plays like a RB which increases the chance of injury and as a result, his performance level will decrease with an injury this year. I think now is the time to trade him as his value will is lowered if that happens.

We arent going to trade him.....It would be a big cap hit for us. Also, we are not going to trade him for a injured receiver!

We all know that is about time for the Dallas MN to come out with a "person close to the situation" article. They will do anything to get a story

Britney or Jamie Lynn?

I always liked Marcus in college and he is an intriguing 3-4 guy because he's really a 3-4 DE, but he's not a great pass rusher. He's a weird kid in HS he was an all world TE and basketball prospect but he got bigger and seemed to lose his burst. he is almost a non factor as a pass rusher now, you should have seen him in HS basketball he looked like the next Julius Peppers, but apparently he just got too big and lost the athleticism.

LOL Brittany Matt would love her. Romo would be jealous. Brittany would show up at the home games

This is the last time I am going to say this when it comes to these Boldin rumors. Put Rumor in the title not "Reporting".

I will be pretty upset if they trade Boldin to a playoff team. There is no way he should be rewarded for acting like a child. I would trade him to Detroit or Oakland and gladly watch him suffer even if it means getting a little less in return.

Just looking back in the off season. What would of happened if we did make this trade. It would of been one of the worst trades in NFL history

I don't think that Dallas has a first round pick in the 2009 draft. They gave that to Detroit along with their 3rd round pick for WR Roy Williams.
