NAZSuns. That's an interesting move. I love the options the G League gives teams to experiment without disrupting the regular NBA roster.

Bennett has played for Cleveland, Brooklyn, Minnesota, and Toronto so far and hasn't shown much. I remember when he was drafted some scouts thought he'd be the next Larry Johnson, undersized PF but strong enough to keep position and not be hindered much by being an inch or two short for his position.

He's been the worst #1 overall pick of all time though, including Greg Oden. At least when Oden was healthy he looked really promising but he was only healthy for 100 games over 6 years. Bennett has been healthy but he's just been really bad. It's been 4 years since he was drafted, I doubt things will click for him but if they do it's good for us, a non-guaranteed deal is virtually risk free for the Suns. He may end up being better than Len, who was picked 4 spots after him. That would be something.

A lot of people here wanted the Suns to get someone that the Cav's selected #1 overall this offseason, we did it and it didn't cost us Jackson, Bledsoe, Chriss, Bender, or any future picks.

I was hoping the Suns might get an opportunity to draft Bennett at #5 in the 2013 NBA draft where he went #1.

I was also happy the Suns drafted Len at #5. :lmao:

That was a bad draft especially with the early picks.

It's easy to forget Bennett is still only 24.

At first glance that always looks like Nazi Suns.

No wonder we never heard anything about Anthony Bennett. He didn't even get a look in a preseason game.

The NAZ have traded Anthony Bennett to the Maine Red Claws. They got a player named Wesley Saunders in return and a 2nd round pick. I guess that's it for Bennett having a chance at playing on the Suns. I know he played for Team USA this fall and thought he might have a chance of getting called up when he returned but he didn't show much of anything for the NAZ Suns.
