When Palmer went down with his shoulder thing he was week to week and no QB was brought in because Palmer was week to week. Now that Palmer is done for the season, who do they plan to bring in? Has to be someone viable and not a Dennis Dixon type who has little to no game experience. Looking at NFL.com, here's what's available:

Jimmy Claussen
Josh Freeman
David Garrard
Rex Grossman
Brady Quinn
Seneca Wallace

Not much to choose from here. And Logan Thomas should not be an option at #2.

someone familiar with the system is my guess. Dixon or Lindley.

I think Brady Quinn is happy being a pretty boy commentator now. l would be happy with Lindley.

They already brought in Dixon once. Makes sense that they would bring him back for a second go around.

Lindley makes sense now that Carson is gone for the year. So they could easily grab him off the practice squad and put him on the active roster.

Arians will want someone who knows his offense and can step right in and play if needed. Right now that is Dixon and Lindley.

Lindley makes the most sense. He has been in the system for over a year and is already familiar with the receivers. I personally believe that Lindley would be our #2 QB if signed because Thomas is still so raw.

Brady Quinn... lmao, it would take him too long to even learn the players names. He didn't know them for the broadcasts he did!

Josh Freeman is garbage. He had success in 2010, big deal. That's a lifetime ago. It should say something that in a QB starved league he isn't on a roster.

We are seriously talking about Lindley as our backup?

I don't ever want to see him on our team again, no matter what. I would rather see LT play than him.

I know there is not much to choose from, but not Lindley

It's a good thing you can type with a "straight face" because I sure couldn't SAY that with a straight face. :)

A QB I think SK might have interest in is Mike Kafka (6-3, 225, 3, Northwestern), who is currently on the TB practice squad. Keim has said before that he wanted to draft him...and the Eagles traded up three years ago right in front of the Cardinals' spot to take Kafka in the 4th round, where Keim was targeting him.

i think is just bruce arians choice.
this man has the control now
u can see it about cooper situation,,its clear keim would like to see him play but arians want to stick with larsen and fanaika as starters

I think BA&SK work arm in arm.

There's real credence to offensive line continuity---and Keim, an offensive lineman himself, understands and supports this.

This wouldn't be a good choice. Right now we need a proven veteran not some kid who has thrown all of 16 passes in the NFL. Of course none of the available veterans are worth a dime either. As for Freeman, he had a good season in 2012 as well. I wouldn't call 2 years a lifetime ago.

This. You brink Kafka into a training camp. right now, you sign a vet or at least someone familiar with the system. Your best case scenario is that you have to use the guy to close out a game or something. If he has to do anything more than that you are sunk anyway.

What we need is freaking running back that can be a bit of a bruiser. We are not going to find a pass rusher now, they are a high priority but the priority to give Ellington a break between the tackles is huge in my opinion. I also honestly think that Taylor if healthy, could have more to do with us succeeding with Stanton than most might think

What about Jeff Tuel?

I think he would be a good choice for #2/3 guy right now

I don't know anything about contracts and such, but let's just assume it's Dixon the Cards want to sign. It would seem that he would have the upper hand in any contract negotiations because the Cards really, I mean really, have to sign someone.
