Would a Casey Jacobsen/Jake Voskuhl/Future #1 be enough to get this done?

I know Bird is looking to help Harrington out by shipping him somewhere. In my mind, he's going to be one helluva player.

Artest, minus his bad ass attitude, is an excellent defender/bruiser who would add a tough dimension to this team.

Not sure how their salaries come into play.

I would give our own # pick next year for Harrington. I don't know if I want the Artest headache though!

You sure about that, Graham? The #1 that PHX holds (Chicago's) is pretty enticing.

Everybody in the league already knows Harrington wants out. And, IND will be picking late again next year.

There are some good point guards that will be available (Chris Paul), and IND will have to address this soon.

Where would Harrington play in Phoenix? That doesn't help his situation at all because he would be a 6th man here as well.

I like Harrington but not as a starter for our team.

Sly, I would not give the Chicago pick. I was talking about our own pick, which should be around 12-16 or so.

We can't becouse we need to give a pick to San Tone for Barbosa last year. So we can't trade the pick until next year.

The Chi pick could be anywhere next season. Gordon and Deng should help them a lot, and if Chandler stays healthy all year they could even make the playoffs next season.

They might consider it I guess.

Like Slin said though, he would just grumle here as well. He wants out of Indiana because he wont start ahead of Oneal, same thing will happen here.

Trust me when I say it's going to take a lot more than Casey, Jake, and a draft pick to get Harrington.

I think that we might be able to swing an Eisley for Pollard swap, though. The Pacers need another point guard.

I'm not really into trading Marion 'unless' we could get a solid big in return. If Harrington came over (without giving up Marion), that would make Marion expendable in a sign & trade.

Just a thought...

I don't think the Suns can afford to give up Voskuhl unless they are getting a very reliable center in return.

I would never trade Jake unless it was in a package for a center. Jake plays hard and IS REALLY, REALLY CHEAP. He is more productive than guys making four times his salary. I get down on him, but he is a great value as a backup.
