In case you didn't know Wayne passed away last year! :(

That truly suxx, I was unaware of his passing..... I do not say this about many people..... but Wayne Leonard was a very good man

the first season at UOP I was in the middle of a divorce when my season tickets came due and was gonna let them lapse.....Wayne and I were runnin around one day and he just randomly pulls in to Cardinals HQ....he says, "Hey Oak, let's get your tix paid for so you don't lose them"
Wayne was a true Cardinals Die Hard and would do anything for a fellow Cards fan....I was looking forward to tailgating with him again when I make it back out to the desert.

R.I.P. Wayne.....I miss you man

My wife & I are locked for the Saints game. Stadium #30 of the 32 for me. We're staying at a B&B near Coliseum Square (Terrell House B&B), arriving on Fri night from Memphis (where we're spending most of the previous week).

A friend of mine who's a Saints fan says most folks "tailgate" in the Quarter prior to the game, then shuffle over to the Dome come gametime, so that's our likely plan. All of us on this board heading to NO should pick a place in the Quarter to meet up in Sun morning, perhaps?

We may also be in Nashville, but that may not happen as it is so close to Christmas time. Philly will be a gametime decision.

Well said and I agree.

I also was not aware he had passed away. He and I talked Cards football for hours on in at the hotel bar when I attended the Seattle game a couple years ago. At one point, there was a young Cards fan with his parents and Wayne went up to his hotel room and brought the youngster back an bunch of Cards memorabilia. I can remember seeing the young kid's face light up and smile.

I also met him in St. Louis, Nashville, and Baltimore. He was truly a great guy and great Cards fan.

Yep he was a loyal fan, who often shared with other fans his generosity. We went to the KC game 3 years ago & he brought gifts to give me & OKzona on Sat before we went to enjoy a steak. On Sunday, he used his connections to get us at the players only meeting area after the game in which I got pics with many...pretty cool. In case you didn't know he did some kind of work for the team & had serious connections. He will be missed for his kindness.

We are staying at the Omni in the French Quater, so if anybody knows a good place to meet up on Bourbon Street we'll be there for sure.

Remember we spoke to him briefly at the NFC Championship Game. He touched more people then he ever knew. He'll be missed

How about Pat O'Briens on St. Peter's Street. They have a regular bar and a patio also. If memory serves me they also have a killer mixed drink. I think it is the Hurricane.

We are also in sec 102 and only 4 rows behind you. We will all have to hook up before the game. I will probably be a the cigar factory on bourbon street, if you know me you won't be shocked. It is a place that all three of us can enjoy. Me with cigars and wife and son with a cold beverage.

I met up with Cardsfanstl and some of the rest of you before the playoff game. Several of us ate together at Pat O' Briens. I will be driving in from Texas for the game and would love to all meet up again also. Walking over to the game from the French Quarter is the thing to do. Stopping along the way for some roadie cups.
