At the complete half-ass strategy by the Suns tonight against the Kings?

One would think the Suns would see a golden opportunity to inch closer to the Mavs when they lost today too, but no....

They underestimate the Kings and get their asses handed to them by the worst team in the league.

I wouldn't think a team comprised of O'Neal, Nash, and Hill would do such a thing....

The Kings aren't the worse team in the league.

But no, I am not surprised. The suns aren't a good team and don't play defense, so they will always be vulnerable to even the worst of teams. It happens.

Yes and no. Am I surprised that the Suns lost to the Kings tonight? Yes. Am I surprised that when given a great opportunity the Suns took a leak down their legs? No.

The Kings are still a team full of NBA players. They probably played one of the best games of the season and we flat laid an egg. Had we got blown out last night it made tonights game tougher. Still no excuse for a loss like this. Well we have a long shot at Blake Griffin and a little bit better draft choice

Seriously, it was over weeks sgo.

This is true. Even if the Suns had stumbled into the playoffs they were going nowhere and, IMO, they knew it. If there were any lingering hope for the Suns it went out the window with that recent OT loss to Utah. Actually Kerr already blew up the Suns last season but he failed to realize it.

I'm not Amazed by anything the Suns do. I expect mediocrity from them. I think even before ownership, GM, or coach it could be the wrong combination of players. But who knows. Do we honestly think a defensive minded coach would want some of the current players, or magically make them want to focus on defense?

Most NBA teams have players who can make shots. Not every NBA team has players committed to defense. The reality is, we could have won quite a few more games if we played some defense on occasion.

Defense gets you wins in the playoffs, and gets you though the games when your offense has troubles. The suns have usually been able to get the points, but not the defensive stops throughout the games. If we stopped opposing point guards from driving for open layups, we might have 10 more wins.

Kings are currently leading the Hornets by 2 with 1.7 seconds to go.

Maybe they're better than you give them credit for Andrew.

Edit: Haha, I jinxed them apparently. Hornets win with buzzer beating 3 pointer.
