Or will I be the lone red shirt(leaving the Rolle jersey at home  ) in the stadium. Maybe can hook up for a tailgate. I know nothing about the setup as i have never been there. I'm sure there's a stadium, a parking lot, and beer. That's all I need.

Eat seafood at bars across the street from the stadium or on the ocean boardwalk. It's a gorgeous, scenic stadium!!!

It's the nicest stadium I've ever been to...the only problem is that it was filled with Seahawks fans.

Just left Seattle a few days ago and the fans up there are pretty cocky right now. I was wearing Cards gear most of the time and got alot of comments about how this is their division and we have been lucky with oter teams being hurt etc. They feel pretty confident that they take the west. So for those going, be extra loud and let our Cards know you are there.

Oh yeah and ride the ducks tour. That crap was funny and as dorkie as I felt it was a great time. Did the one in San Fran a few days later and it was just as fun.

I am the same way I try to engineer it so I can fast forward until when the Cards have the ball.

Great place to see a game-----beautiful stadium right downtown between the freeway and the bay. Great seafood places walking distance from the stadium. Best seafood ever-----wish I could go. Have a ball in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. GO CARDS !!!!!!!!:D

Tailgating isn't that good

Many of the lots are owned by the city and they do not allow flames or booze

There used to be a big area around the viaduct that was open for tailgating (hawk heaven) .... but that's been heavily restricted due to the construction ... used to look like this

You must be registered for see images

You can still find some at private lots and people in the north lot (big lot closer to pioneer square opposite safeco) .... i know there is a pretty big group that has been near holgate, but that's a little bit out of the way for just a walk through

if you are staying in the city there is no need to drive to the game .... very easy to either walk to the stadium or connect to a bus that will get you there (they are free in the downtown zone which ends at the edge of pioneer square)

there are also a ton of bars in the area that get very busy - most of my people are at the King Street Bar & Kitchen

You'll have food vendors all around the stadium and can bring in a sealed bottle of water (safeco doesn't allow this)

If you haven't been before it's worth swinging through touchdown city in the expo hall attached to the stadium (on the more southern end going towards safeco - it's free) ..... wouldn't budget a lot of time there, but can be a worthy stumble through and then enter the gates into the stadium attached through the hall

http://www.seahawks.com/qwest-field/stadium-guide/touchdown-city.html

make sure you are in there in time for the raising of the 12 flag

i'm obviously biased, but definitely the best game environment I've been to in the NFL and the stadium is a complete gem .... depending on your seats if you are growing tired of watching the cardinals trip all over themselves you can get great views of the city and the sound

Hope you have fun ... it's a great city and good environment for a game ..... fans can get vocal towards visitors, but from what i've seen it's not as bad as what i've seen in other stadiums ..... with 65,000 people you'll always have a few A-Holes, but it's a fraction of how dopey things get in places like SD

I'm sure you'll run into plenty of other cardinal fans .... there are definitely links between the two cities as far as population migration

Definitely jealous of you guys ... i need to make it back up there .... great seafood and I love being on the water .... one of my musts is taking the ferry over the bainbridge island, walking around, having lunch and then coming back to seattle to wander and find a good dinner -which isn't hard

Noone else is chiming in. You and I and whoever else we bring may be the only Card fans there.

I think SeattleCard goes to these games. Maybe he hasn't seen the thread yet.

Just saw the thread! You are right yeahbut - I will be there!!! I never miss the game up here.

The last few years have been a wonderful experience with our Cards laying the smackdown on Seattle. Prior to the Coach Whiz era, the AZ/SEA games I would attend were rather miserable (except back in 2003, when we beat Seattle in the first regular season game to open the new stadium, and Thomas Jones looked like a world beater).

I must admit that the Hawks really do have the loudest stadium. Painfully loud. It provides them quite an advantage. Another thing, Cardinal fans at the stadium have gone up a small amount in the past two years, but still we are a very small minority in a stadium packed with blue and neon green.

Most Seattle fans up here are smelling blood and want revenge against the Cards, since we kicked them to the ground having laid claim to the NFC West. Prior to Max Hall, I was getting a bit nervous for our chances in this game. I admit, Hall provides hope and thankfully he's not DA.

I think it will be a tough game. How will Hall handle the noise? I'd love nothing more than for us to win by more than ten, but it will be close. Go Cards - and look forward to seeing other AZ fans at the stadium.

Hey Osprey------thanks for the details-----I knew you would come through for these guys. I was only there once, for 5 days to visit my son at Lynwood. Had a great time exploring the Seattle area and visiting your famous seafood palaces. One of the best trips my wife and I ever made.
Thanks again for the help, because most of the details are gone from my memory new, just the highllights remain. Beautiful city.
