Just installed it and it's sweet.

But in Outlook, when I have mail delivered and sorted to other folders, my new mail icon doesn't show up...but it does when it just goes to my inbox.

Any ideas?

I just switched to Office 2007 and it has been a pain in the neck using Word. I can't get it to stop automatically double spacing, the different views are harder to use, font settings are a pain, and we had to call our IT guys to find out how to get the print icon to show up in the toolbar.

:bang:

I LOVE Office 2007. Incredibly user friendly, everything I want is easy to access and there are so many nice new features (the floating bar when you highlight text in Word is sick...so great).

I am flat out impressed by Office 2007 and I rarely get excited about any business software.

I like some of the stuff, but maybe my laptop is just too slow for it.

I have a 1.7gb PST mail file and when i'd click on a folder Outlook hadn't opened before, it took over 5 minutes for the view to form. It was ridiculous.

But I like Excel and Word so far.

Are you also using Exchange? That big of PST it would take some time to load in.

No, I'm not.

But they should load the views in the background or something...instead of waiting until I click on a folder.

I'm trying out Thunderbird right now anyways....

I was going to say that is a fairly large .pst...I'm not surprised it's having trouble with it.
