That's me. But I moved ;)

I remember you kind of running things.

I also remember some very good times on draft day in the chat room. One year in particular when we were making fun of some women from Iowa I believe. We drafted a DL from there and I don't remember the particulars but it was hysterical.

Lets not forget NAZDrew (defected to the Saints) and David Baker. Sun City Carl was part of that motley crew and frequently visits ASFN. Also the two Prices (Bill and Don?)

Dave Baker was a ringleader in a grass roots movement to fill SDS with the fannies of Cardinal fans for the home opener vs. the Felons (the one we won in overtime when Butthead nailed the bank shot off the left upright).

I made the epic trip from NJ to that game and broke bread with a bunch of AOL Cards Corner guys the night before. I still have the baseball cap autographed by all of us who attended.

Yup Zeno ran it but brought me on board to help write articles so I could get my AOL for free! Good times they were!

I ran the CBS Cards team board not Cards Corner...yeah, we got free AOL out of that.

Remember others like the guy who was obsessed with Boomer Esiason?

There are sure to be a bunch of others I can't remember.

I remember that and was there -- and as I recall, the Cards did win that weekend

My wife and I were doing some spring cleaning last week and she found my old "Top 10 Reasons I'm a Card Fan" t-shirt from the old Rivals site. (I was DC_Card_Fan then.)

It's a bit tattered; but, I can't bear to part with it. I'd love to have a replacement though.

Go Cards!!!

The old AOL site was a great place. Kinda like the cyberversion of Pluto. Towards the end there were only a dozen or so and AOL didnt even acknowledge it.
As Southforte I believe I was one of the last to post there.
I went back occasionaly to check for life and after a while it would no longer respond.
Its remnants are probably bouncing around in the hinterlands of the E world to be redescovered in some future time by a high powered search engine looking for the definition of obscurity.

The Rivals site?

Yeah that's where I jumped in lol. Then of course azprosports.com before that died and this great site opened thanks to skkorp :)

Don't post as often as I used to, but I still log on and read all the time :)

Pretty much blame stargatewars.com lol and running my alliance and dealing with that stuff which suck all my posting time up.

Does anyone still have a Rivals T-shirt that I believe Chander Mike had made? It was a top ten reasons for being a cards fan.

I loved that T-shirt.

I got that shirt, but i think i threw it away cause it turned yellow!

Actually, I think mine turned yellow too. I wore it so often it eventually fell apart.

Someone on this site was kind enough to give me an extra they still had.

BIM Rules!

Never found the Rivals or AOL sites - first site for me was the CNNSI.com message boards - Cardinal Chris and Chris Sanders are the only names from there I remember

And lady. Traveler1 was there. She is here now too. The travel agent lady.

She says she didn't go "native" on the beaches of Spain but I have it on good authority that she used a monokini. South Beach ain't nothiing. ASFN women rule!

EEEKKKK!!!

Don't remind me it's been that long!!! When was that? 1996/97??

Wow. I remember some of the guys were surprised to discover Travleler1 was a femme...

We had one of the sports writers from the AZR as well as a young fella from TV channel 12 posting quite a bit. Can't remember their names. Nem would drive everyone crazy on the old Cards Corner including me. Those were the days.
