IMO, it's a Catch 22 situation. On the one hand people are hurting, myself included (and at 72 there's little hope for economic survival), so we get jealous when we read about greedy athletes and coaches (see Jim Calhoun). But on the other hand, we use sports as an escape from reality and like to see positive things about "our" teams. In my case the Cardinals got me through the holidays, and I'm grateful for them. And naturally Kurt Warner was a big part of that. But to see how the situation has deterioriated, well it's tough. Don't see a winner in this fight, probably two losers, unless KW announces he's playing for Az for less money. JMO.
