MIN is up next and KG got into a fight tonight with McDyess. I don't know the particulars of the altercation, but will he be suspended for at least Sunday's game?

I wouldn't call it a fight, just some pushing and shoving. I didn't see any punches thrown, but KG did throw the ball at McDyess

There's more testosterone in a WNBA fight than in one between Garnett and McDyess.

I find it somewhat humorous that it all started on a Mark Madsen flop. If you showed this to me before the Detroit brawl a couple years ago I would have said this isn't suspension worthy but with Stern so concerned with cleaning up the league I wouldn't be surprised with a 1 or 2 game suspension just to send a message.

heres some video on kg tonight.

tough to say if he'll be suspended. it was like a half swing and then he pulled a melo.
:biglaugh:

KG fights like a nancy-girl! He'll definitely be suspended because he threw a lame-ass punch, pushed McD and pushed a ref into McD's path so he could Texas two-step away. What a chump. You ain't tough, KG. Stop acting it....

I saw the fight live and felt the same way about it. Thought about posting here about KG's Melo move but had a weird feeling I might get flamed.:thud:

glad to see most of you thought KG was acting like a sissy. He started the fight by shoving Dyess but when the latter accepted the challenge, KG backpedalled in fear. I didn't know he was such a softie.

KG was backing up so fast that McDyess could not catch him walking pretty fast straight at him!!! KG was backing up extremely fast from the charging McDyess!

I doubt Marion is much of a fighter either. Just think of how he writhes around in pain after every fall, his phobia of contact while driving, and his constant whining about respect.

Honestly, do you ever have anything good to say about Shawn Marion, Eric?

Sure. I thought he played pretty well against Portland, even though it wasn't one of his better nights statistically. He wasn't up to the impossible task of keeping Randolph off the boards, but he challenged a lot of shots and was generally quite active defensively. Furthermore, I've been quite impressed with his outlet passing recently. He has this move where he jumps up and baseballs a line drive half the length of the court, and his accuracy is quite good.

Why does a negative comment automatically imply that there is nothing postive? Answer: It doesn't.

So, in keeping with the theme of the thread, no Garnett and no Ricky Davis tonight. Somebody needs to make a list of all the major players who did not play against us per each game. And though again we'll get absolutely no credit for winning, there is nothing we can do to control this. Okay, well I guess we could suspend Nash and Marion to even out the odds a bit.

The odd thing is, about half the Suns fans on this board would probably go along with that.

Coro pitched the idea of D'Antoni wearing a holocaust cloak during warm-ups, but I guess Coach D didn't find the humor in it. Gosh darn him to heck.

Oops, my mistake, sorry about that.

Whenever I hear the term, I can't help but remember the Dread Pirate Roberts.

As old as that movie is, it probably has more memorable one liners per minute than any other movie made.
