Seriously. Take a look at the rest of the team with 3 wins or less:

Carolina(1-11): Yes they are dead last in every offensive category except rushing but this team is so demoralized with injuries but they at least they try. I'd be willing to bet they beat us and beat us good.

Buffalo(2-10): This team battles week in and week out. 5 times this team has lost by less than a TD. And they've had some rotten luck.

Cincinnati(2-10): Another team who battles but just can't get it done. If they had any kind of a defense, they'd be halfway decent. They've played some of the top teams in the league pretty tough and even beat Baltimore.

Detroit(2-10): Talk about a hard luck team. They're down to their 3rd string QB and they're still just losing to teams. 7 losses by a TD or less and they were rooked twice playing the Bears. They'd kill us right now.

Denver(3-9): One of the top passing offenses in the league(4th) and they lost 5 games by a TD or less and they spanked the Chiefs earlier in the season. I'm not looking forward to next week.

There you have it. Is there a team on this list we beat? I don't see it and we actually play 2 of them in the next 2 weeks. Denver is going to embarrass us and and since we play Carolina on the road, we will most assuredly lose. But seriously, is there a worse team in the NFL then us right now?

I would say we are pretty darn close to being the worst team in the NFL. i just see a team that looks demoralized out there every week thats just there to collect a paycheck. having a good qb at the helm would probably light a fire in their ass and make them play more inspired on both sides of the ball. kurt warner certainly masked the deficiencies this team has.

The Titans and Panthers are worse, let's be honest now.

Defensive Rankings...Yards Per Game 28th, Points Allowed 32nd, Avg Rush Yds allowed per game 30th, Pass yards allowed per game 25th, Opponents first downs per game 29th, Opponents time of possesion 31st.

Offensive Rankings...Yards Per Game 31st, Points Scored 31st, Yards Per Play 31st, Turnover Diff 30th, Passing Yds 31st, Rushing Yards 31st, First Downs per game 30th, 3rd Down Pct 32nd, Sacks Allowed 31st

Carolina is the only team I would consider worse than us statistically(only team in NFL not to have at least 200 points scored so far).

I'll agree with everyone but Cincy, NJ. Cincy is a bad, bad football team. Carson Palmer is a junk-time quarterback right now. That team puts itself in massive holes and then has fun running out the clock by throwing the ball all over the yard.

I don't want any piece of Carson Palmer this offseason.

Based on the way we've played the last several weeks, yes, we really are the worst team in the league right now. And unless Skelton proves to be a serious upgrade over DA, I have every confidence we'll continue to take the field and defend our standing.

As of right now, we are most definitely the worst team in the NFL. Niners & Cowboys will kill us. I just don't see us winning a road game, so Carolina will probably beat us. We could possibly beat Denver at home with Skelton at the helm, but it's a longshot. We really need Andrew Luck, but we''ll find a way to win a game & lose out again on a real QBOF.

Watching Cincy these last few weeks has definitely downgraded my interest in Palmer. I'd like him to do well but he's running scared, and I don't see that changing a lot with our offensive line.

Worse, I don't see no hope going forward? do you? as far as DA gouing on 10+ incompletion streaks like a SCUD MISS ALL!

but Beanie getting 3 carries? passing over 75% of the year with the worse QB in the NFL? Keeping the bad defense on the field most of all games. yea were a mess.

that risky draft? signing 33+ year old exsteelers, Hadnot? cutting Cody Brown, Reggie Wells, Rolle and Leinart?

Every fundemental football rule ever taught to me as a fan of 40+ years has been violated, and whiz never has taken responsibility, not once! If the players qwould just make plays.

You jknow like Beanie on the bench or Matt on the Houston bench, or Cody Brown on the Jets, or Everson Griffin on the Vikings.

what talent there is is lost in bad schemes and gameplans every week. We are running 75% of the time and people are doggin on the oline, King Kong and Godzilla would fail on our oline. throwing bolders and spitting fire, aint enough.

every fan i talk to has that Jack Nicholson crazy laugh, a defense mechanism I guess .

From watching the way this team can't score, can't convert 3rd downs, can't run block, can't stop the run, can't stop the pass I would say we are the worst team of the bunch. I've watched all those teams play bits & pieces of the season & our effort & results have been by far the worst!!!

We've been completely dominated on both sides of the ball in losses to Atl, SD, Sea, KC, SF & Stl...embarassing!!! The Redbirds lucked out beating the Rams in game 1 (Thx #15), the Raiders & the Saints (D pulled a rabbit out of their ass). We could very well be talking 1-11 or 0-12 right now. Of all the teams listed above we definately have played the worst and yet will still not get the opportunity to select #1 overall...Lucky or unLucky? :bang::bang::bang:

The Carolina game is looking like to be a real barn burner isn't it.

Last time I looked we are also down to our 3rd string QB but regardless injuries are no excuse.

Nobody gave a damn in the past about injuries to the Cardinals, so I don't give a damn about anybody else's injuries now

I didn't see where he was making any excuses for Detroit. In fact it looked like he was congratulating them on still being competitive.

Maybe someone knows but have we ever been this lowly ranked on both offense and defense at the same time before? Bottom 7 in pretty much every major offensive and defensive category...that is miserable.

Detroit lost by 4 points at home to a team that is at the top of their division. Detroit has been pretty competitive in most games this season.

Despite injuries.

We're down to our 3rd string QB, but we haven't been rotating QBs in all season because of injuries. We're doing it because both guys stink.

The injuries excsue for other teams just irks me because of past comments about the Cardinals, call it a sore spot. I got tired of announcers excusing high profile teams because of injuries.

However, I would not bet money on us beating anybody right now

I'm sure you remember that in 2003 the Cards finished 32nd in both points scored and points allowed.

Just for fun though I went to ProFootball-reference and took their "rankings" for the 2003 team in 14 categories for the offenses for both 2003 and 2010.

The 2003 team average ranking was 25.7. 2010 27.4

Defense average: 2003 24.3 2010 23.4
