At this point it would be better if they lose out maybe that will force some much needed changes on this team!

Detroit lost by 4 points at home to a team that is at the top of their division. Detroit has been pretty competitive in most games this season.

Despite injuries.

We're down to our 3rd string QB, but we haven't been rotating QBs in all season because of injuries. We're doing it because both guys stink.

yep

i look at the teams with worse records and think of two things:

1. They have scored some offensive tds in the last three weeks
2. The Cards are a missed Sebastian Janikowski FG from playing for the first pick in the draft in two weeks against Carolina

I'm sure you remember that in 2003 the Cards finished 32nd in both points scored and points allowed.

Just for fun though I went to ProFootball-reference and took their "rankings" for the 2003 team in 14 categories for the offenses for both 2003 and 2010.

The 2003 team average ranking was 25.7. 2010 27.4

Defense average: 2003 24.3 2010 23.4

So our 2010 Offense is actually worse and our defense slightly better? We really do suck again, in a HUGE way.

you're giving max hall too much credit.

Of all the personnel moves that Whis has been a party to that have been disasters-- there is only one (yep, only one) that make me seriously question his competence:

the Max Hall love affair.

I get the guy is smart, has intangibles, etc. I get he has a quick release. But if he has an arm where 15 yard throws have an observable arc to them -- he just doesn't have the arm strength to be an NFL qb.

The Titans and Panthers are worse, let's be honest now.

The Titans would beat us soundly and the Panthers are going to destroy us for the lowest point of the season.

we are the scuzz of the NFL.

But for the playoff game in 2008, the Panthers kind of own the Cards. Seems like anyway.

The Panthers will destroy us and it won't even be funny. It will be the final clearing of the super bowl bandwagon.

And if we played the Titans, CJ would break Dickerson's record IN THAT GAME ALONE.

Didn't look it up, but I don't think the Cards have ever beaten the Broncos in the regular season. Broncos own the Cards

Truth be told, all of our QB's are 3rd stringers.

True. However, Skleton was supposed to be the third string QB this season and learn the system. I still believe Skleton has the talent to be a starter but this is not the road he was supposed to take to get there. I just hope he can survive if he remains the starter and learn on the job. The QB situation is Whiz' mistake.

Carolina has the same QB issues and are as inconsistent in most other phases of the game as the Cards are, so it's probably a coin flip.

On the road, on the East Coast--that pushes it to their favor.

Winning a few games down the stretch does nothing but possibly persuede the idiots in charge that what we are doing is working, which is the last damn thing this team needs. This team needs major changes and losing 11 straight to end the season would almost make the FO make changes or lose fans and lots of money!

Last time I looked we are also down to our 3rd string QB but regardless injuries are no excuse.

Nobody gave a damn in the past about injuries to the Cardinals, so I don't give a damn about anybody else's injuries now

Actually, we went into the season with a 3rd, 4th, and 5th string QB. But there is a big difference losing a QB who was the #1 overall pick in the draft. As for our injuries, injuries haven't been our problem. It's the overall personnel that's the problem. And if we gave half the effort that the Lions have given this season, we'd be on top of the division.

it's a home game for them and they can run the ball. we will get crushed.

He was playing against our defense so I imagine that he looked all world.

You are what your record says you are. So no! ;)

Our record says we are not but if you look at the last seven games we lost them all and not by just three points. Buffalo looks to me a lot better than there record and they have lost some by just a few points. I think they would take us easily. We certainly have the worst QB and it all starts with him. Our team seems to have lost there drive now that we are out of it and have lost 7 in a row. From my view we are the worst team. We have a few more games and we play Denver and one of the other bad teams so we might battle for the worst team status. With our past history you can believe most people would say we are the worst.
