I get that you proposed this, and think it is a good idea, but you don't need to create multiple threads about it.

Exactly. What's this sissy boy your 3rd thread about your favorite player Tony?

I still believe Palmer can lead us to the promised land but I don't care if Montana, Brady, Manning or Favre was QB'ing this team it's still mediocre because of its putrid Oline. That Oline is freaking terrible & BA isn't helping it out with his play calling or formations. :barf:

Wentzel, Boggs, Shipley, Watford, Humphries was the OL in play during the game.

I think Wisconsin, Shane, Me, Bucky, and Mitch would have been as productive. Palmer is fine with any semblance of an OL.

Cmon, Tony Romo????? At least give me somebody who is better.

I got a new hip, so put me in coach...:clapping:

Romo would be dead after the pounding that CP took today.

Lol

Put us in coach I'm ready & willing, I know we wouldn't be worse. I'm shocked Palmer isn't on IR yet, seriously he's 1 tough SOB & I'll take him on my team any day.

This Romo crap to the Cards has to stop. He would be out for the year by game 1 if not preseason, Behring Big Reds Oline. Enough already of that crazy talk.

So what makes anyone think the O-line will be better next year? I have to agree Palmer peaked last year. He could still win with the right team, but with the O-line and receiver changes that are coming, it makes sense for this to be the last of Palmer. That said I think BA still is keeping the faith.

And yet our head coach keeps calling for empty backfield. Refuses to change philosophy regardless of having a depleted offensive line. Refuses to run a screen, draw misdirection or move the pocket.
Palmer is one of the most immobile qb's in the league and we do nothing to help him. We have now beaten the 49ers twice, the Jets and the Bucs.
We are no longer a top flight team. Accept the fact and start thinking about how this offense is going to get fixed.

When we first acquired Palmer I posted that a good friend of mine was a huge Cincinnati fan and watched this guy every camp and went to every game. He warned me that Palmer was going to break our hearts. He said there would be days that Palmer looked like a world beater and others where he would make such horrible decisions he looked like a scrub.

Pretty much has been his story even here.

being unhappy with Palmer does not equal going after romo.... that equation does not add up.

being unhappy with Palmer more equally equates to doing whatever is necessary to get the best possible QB in the next draft.......a bandaid for this season is a waste of time, we need to set ourselves up for the future..

also, if it were me..I would just cut Floyd today...our offense is not clicking for whatever reason but it does not help that whenever the chips are down Floyd is on a different page of the playbook...

Draft:
QB
WR
OT/OG
ILB

Fitz is getting older, Floyd is...hell I dunno what is up with Floyd
John Brown lost his "IT" factor(not to mention Palmer trying to force balls to Brown has equated to about half of our turnovers the past two seasons), and JJ cant play the deep half of the field by himself.
