At first I thought the bandwagoners were kind of funny but it's really annoying me now. I actually got high fived by a co-worker (who I remember to be a casual Pat's fan) as he told me "We did it!".
I remember being made fun of for so many years whenever I wore my Card's gear.....Today I saw about 10 people at work wearing Card's jersey's!
And I'm really getting annoyed by the TV and radio reporters too. They're all about the Cardinals now too even though just a few years ago, some of them were Dallas fans (Pasmore of channel 3). I know we should embrace these new fans, but I also think they should be called out a little bit.

just realize that these bandwagon fans are keeping some fans like me from being able to go to the game. It sounds stupid but its so frustrating to know that you should be at that game instead of half the people that are going to be there. tis life.

I kinda feel your pain. If the Cards lose a game, the people I work with always say, "wow YOUR team stinks" and when we win they are like "WE played a hell of a game"

Funny that they only associate themselves with the team when they are playing well. I guess that's life in the Phoenix sports market. I dont see as many Suns jerseys anymore since the media has essentially told us all that they have no shot at a title.

On the other side of the coin, embrace the bandwagoners as we definitely need more red in the stadium than green, or any other color. Let others around the league know that this franchise is finally for real and is serious about winning for a change.

I agree with this SEZ. Right as you high five them say with a smile "and to think, just a few short years ago you gave half a crap about this team!"

Woke up this morning, went outside to ge the papers, and the fellow next door has a Cardinals flag on his truck. This is a Nascar guy who never showed an inkling he knew football even existed.

I smiled and thought, "Welcome Aboard."

(Then when I came back in and reported it, everyone went outside to see for themselves."

"Come on in, the water's fine."

I'll welcome them, but they'll never have the respect I give to the long time die hards, who have suffered with me over the years.

Call it what you will, thats how I see it.

Wow, we ran into bandwagoners galore at the Party City and the Bev Mo today. Adam, Erin and I went down there to get some Yellers and some Cardinals Kool-Aid ingredients, and the places were packed to the rafters with "cards fans." Wild.

Wow.

Uhm.

Ok.

There was also only one yeller left, in white. We got it, and it might be the magic yeller. Someone will get that one and will cause a fumble or a false start or something that turns the game with the yelling into the magic white yeller.

Good times, Phoenix....good times. Whether you were here back then or not, you are here now and we need you. GET LOUD!
