...Because it's coming your way this April.

Greg Cosell (a great follow on Twitter) of NFL Films just tweeted out that Trent Richardson is the best RB since Adrian Peterson. There's a very good chance that he could fall to us. If he should fall to us, there's a very good chance that we'll pass on him because...

...we'll need an offensive tackle. Left or right.

Yay!

Richardson is projected as a Top 5 pick certain to go in the top 10.

But I'll make you a side bet (6 Pack of Dos Equis) - If Richardson falls to us at #13, Rod G will leap on that puppy.

If he is there at 13, they will trade the pick. Or take him and dump Beanie.

Not really the same. I would think there is a big difference between Beanie Wells and Ryan Williams and the Hyphen vs Edgrerrin James and Marcel Shipp and JJ Arrington.

I draft Trent Richardson or trade down for more pick(s). Trading Beanie might be an option.

well --

in last year's draft -- Whis and Graves were singing the "you have to take the best player" tune -- and specifically mentioning passing on Peterson in favor of Brown.

this year will test that -- because right now D'Anthony Batiste is the Cards starting left tackle.

Exactly. I think we trade back in this situation.

BPA all day would be our best shot at landing him. 3 backs just means some quality trade bait to me, perhaps pick up some proven talent on O-line ... as long as we don't offer a second round draft pick in the trade. :D

Jeremy Bridges at LT. D.J. Young at RT. Batiste is a free agent and I haven't heard any news about him coming back.

Richardson is overrated IMO. He is the best since Peterson, but hes no Peterson.

Holding out hope we can get D.Bell.

If we do fill LT in FA, Id like to use our 1st rounder on a CB. We desperately need one. Our DB depth is scant, just think whatll happen if one of them goes down again.

Sign Kamerion Wimbley, that takes care of OLB need. Works out perfectly.

I beat everybody to it :D

Wasn't Cadillac Williams, his running mate at Auburn & Felix Jones going to be the next big stars?

Wells, Williams, and Hypen = drafting Richardson would be stupid.

Yup. Im no big Beanie fan but considering how he played when healthy I wouldnt draft Richardson. good RB's can notoriously be found at later round picks.
