But I am not naive enough to think my opinion motivates the players.

Agreed. Urban pretty much says the same thing.

The players concern for the fans is not exactly at the top of the ladder, and that is probably the sugar coated version of the situation.

Ill be in Pennsylvania with my family. But I get your point.

But its just temporary. Think bigger picture. We win this game, nothing happens but a couple jollies and ability to talk trash to some Cowboy fans.

Personally I would rather have a top 3 pick.

That is logical.

Unfortunately, my illogical hate for the Cowboys makes watching the Cowboys lose, and talking trash to thier fans a higher priority in my book.

Couple that with the fact the Cardinals blow draft pick after draft pick.

Thus a win, which is probablity NOT going to happen anyway, is what I would like to see happen.

Have you seen this team play this year????? I don't think so.

Do you know what happenned to this team this last Sunday against a 1-12 team???? I don't think so.

Yes, I saw them get destroyed with DA under center. They're 1-1 with Skelton & we lost by 7 pts last week in a 1 pm game on the East Coast. I've also see what a garbage team the Cowboys are. Their D gets worse every week. The excitement of Garrett taking over is diminishing weekly. They can't stop anyone & Gross Rexman had like 4 td passes against them in Dallas. Both teams suck, so we'll just have to wait & see. BTW, I've been following this mess since 1964, so I know of what I speak.

Personally I am hoping we get eviserated. The following week too. Thats why I dont' get the whole "i just want a win" mentality from the fans. I get it from a player and coach perspective, but not from the fans.

We have been embarassed enough this year. Any further embarassment will only be incremental. Even if we blow out the Cowboys whats that gonna do? Are people all of a sudden nationally going to have a different view of us?

Maybe I am a masochist but I want to get beat bad. Because THAT will be the impetus to real change this offseason. We are 99% sure Wiz isnt going anywhere but the worse end to the season, the more likley Mike B is angered and pays for FA's and better coordinators (or at least I hope thats the case)

I still think we have a good HC and talent. A Top 3 pick in each round and a last place schedule would be a magic elixir for next season prospects IMO, assuming the quarterback situation is taken care of. And again the worse the end of the season, the more drastic changes to be made.

So I say forget 45-3 SWD. I want 72-0. Thats what will be best for our prospects in 2011.

Game day embarssement is temporary. Season after season of ineptitude (and we are all familiar with that) is prolonged agony.

If we are going to go out, lets go out in a blaze of glory.

Let me give you two senarios!

#1 We lose and lose big in the last two games. The D cant stop anyone and the Offense is really Offensive.

#2 We win the last two games, close game against Dallas but the Offense actually looks decent. Skelton continues to progress and has a good game. And then against SF the offense gets to clicking, minus a couple rookie mistakes. But we win by 10 and snuff out the Whiners chance at making the playoffs.

With situation #1 we end up with a top 5 or top 3 pick. Great ! When was the last good 1st round pick the Cards had? Been awhile aint it, the scouting is not so hot on this team. So there is some upside in the draft, I wont deny that. But some other things happen as well. The players lose more confidence in this coaching staff. FA's have less reason to want to come play here. And Whis loses more credibility with the organization. I am off the in Whis I trust band wagon after this season of horrible decisions, but he is still the best Coach this team has had since I have been a fan. And I personally and not interested in having that change. I hope he learned alot from this miserable season. Oh oh oh one other huge thing that likely happens. Fitz realizes he is at his prime and his window to win a championship is getting smaller fast. The prospects of keeping him here get smaller. Even if we draft a QB the likelihood of him starting next season barring injury is almost zero unless we have another crapper like this one.

With situation #2 we draft top 10 boo hoo! And likely this staff learned from this season and the players still believe they can win here with this team.

These are my thoughts. And I wont even go into the fact that I am 100% unable to ever want my Cards to lose. That topic has been run till the wheels fell off. So for me I am hoping for a massacre of the Cowgirls and a complete S&M show against the Whiners. Go Cards!!!!

One other thing to consider. After most embarrassing losses to Dallas the Bidwills have made major changes in the coaching staff.

Losing big to Dallas could get rid of Russ Grimm which would be great. So....

Nah, I'd rather have a win over Dallas and hope somebody in the organization realizes that some changes must be made to the oline schemes.

As for our first round picks over the years the majority have been good players. The problem has been keeping them in Arizona or getting first round production out of them. Every first round pick except for Wendall Bryant since 2000 is still in the NFL.

This team could not muster enough effort and energy against their hated division rivals in front of the nation on a MNF... I just don't see how they will do it this Saturday and on the road against 9ers.

It's Christmas!! And nothing...

I repeat, NOTHING, will ever steal my Christmas joy! :D Personally, I'll be watching the development of "Big Red" Skelton and hoping Fitz' and Stevie B. have big nights! Also, I'd like to see what Schofield can do, and continue to see improved play from Dan Williams and #58.

As for Iggles, Cowboys, etc. fans rubbing it in?? Fact: Only 1 team wins the Super Bowl. The rest of the teams: lose. If they want to play MY team is better than your team?? BIG frickin' deal! How many championships have the Iggles or Cowboys won recently?? Can we say....ZERO!!!

This loss could put us back in the basement of the NFL in terms of respect. I gotta watch it with non-football fan in-laws who no doubt will be talking smack. Warned them straight up that I will miss X-Mas night if they choose to be asshats.

The worse we are the last two game the more the owners should be embarrassed. Hopefully enough to spend some money and make some needed changes. When you are the worst team in the NFL something has to change. You would think?

I guess it's a foregone conclusion that the 13-1 Cowboys will manhandle us Christmas night..................................Oh, the Cowpukes are really just 5-9 & just allowed 30 pts to an offensively inept & demoralized Skins team. I understand that we suck, but we're not playing the Patriots guys!!!

Are you saying we win this game? I do not like to say it but it is in our best interest to lose it. The extreme possibility exist, I think, we could end up with the first choice. If Carolina wins there last two and our other contenders win out. Then we can trade down and get some one who can help turn the team around in just one year. Just think of all the money we could save by not having to pay Luck some enormous sum of money and having 4 or 5 2nd & 5th round picks. We could out smart the entire NFL who thinks Luck is going to be the next Dan Marino and at the same time save all this money.

Carolina is at Pittsburgh then at Atlanta. Cincinnati plays Sandy Eggo and then is at Baltimore. We aren't getting the #1 pick without a trade.

Now you are thinking like Bill Bidwill. If we can draft Luck and we trade it away the fans should go down to the training facility and burn it to the ground.

Cowboys - Romo = A chance for our Cards giving us a big super bowl type win on Saturday night. I'm looking ahead to seeing our QB Skelton show some more of his high potential.

beating a Back-up QB led 5-9 Cowboy team = our Super Bowl type win for the season tells you all you need to know about the year... Same Old Cards.

Turn this ship around Wiz or i've got no problems with you're ass being shoved out the door next year.
