He said he was going to roll with Stanton and try to be competitive, he did not say win. I think the man has given up and I would not be surprised if the man resigned because that statement was totally out of his character

The guy is brash yes, but that is part of his demeanor for better worse and he is a cancer survivor multiple times... I have never seen the guy so dejected with a total lack of interest, I wonder how Keim is doing because those two are connected at the hip and there is no third hip, hence Michael Bidwill

That said, it sounds like someone beat down.

Dude gave us a fun 3 year run.... but the run is over.

Now please draft a damn QB of the future and get a HC who knows how to develop one and actually sustain success for more than 3 years at a time.

He lost all credibility he had left, if any, when he said he was going with Stanton to be "competitive". If he honestly thought/thinks Drew Stanton was/is worthy of being his No. 2 QB this season he deserves what he gets. I can understand, to a point, loyalty but BA pushes it to the point of incredulity with some of his "pets".

Sounds like a defeated man who will ride off into the sunset after this season.

I do now think this is BA's last year, but he may not make it the whole year if his stubbornness turns management or the team against him. Keim better be careful if he sides with BA too much his job could be in jeopardy as well.

I am beginning to get the feeling there will be an enormous purge after this season, and the cardinals may resemble an expansion team next year. Perhaps an overreaction, but other than David Johnson there is literally nothing about the team I feel positive about for the future.

Seems like BA’s stubbornness is costing the team, but damn, I hate to hear about a man who’s beaten. Especially a guy who made things so fun around here for a couple of seasons. Here’s hoping he and SK can figure this thing out and get the team headed in the right direction again. Appears unlikely, but when BA was hired in 2013 I was stunned the team got so competitive so quickly what with how good SEA & SF were. Make it happen again BASK...go Cards!

Yes and please let it be a coach with philosophies from this century. Arians has way to much faith in his system and his playcalling and refuses to adjust, change, replace staff.

Love BA, grateful for the run, but it's time to move on to the current generation of football minds and strategy.

I haven't had the ability to watch anything in full yet since I'm still over here in Europe but from the glimpses I've caught, I think this era of Cardinals football is coming to a close. I'd like to keep Keim but I think the team looks a lot different next year. In all honesty, I don't think we're that far away, but we're going to need to re-tool, and probably do so under the banner of a new coaching staff.

Patrick Peterson and David Johnson are really the only two untouchables left on this roster, maybe Humphries as another building block. But we should have a ton of cap space next offseason, and hopefully a young QB to build around. We need all new receivers, a revamp of the offensive line, and a new defensive line. Our secondary is questionable too.

He's very much proven otherwise this last season and a half.

Rolling with Stanton is beyond idiotic. Rolling with a never-has-been QB who never will be? In a lost season? Yeah, because THAT makes sense

Chandler Jones, hands down, is currently our best player. Thank God we ext2ended rather than put the tag on him.

I like Harbaugh a lot but Michigan is now the second straight stop where his act started wearing thin on his team by year 3. His style just seems to rub his teams the wrong way rather quickly.

I would have no problem with Arians staying and would even be happy with that but I can no longer endure Amos and especially that Bettcher guy

I agree with this. You can't fire Arians unless you have a group of people who (1) are as good or better and (2) willing to say yes to the job. I think that Arians is a good administrator and I don't believe that his offense is aged — I think that his offense has been limited in some ways by his QB. We could see a more creative offense schematically over the next few weeks.

It is troubling that the special teams has been near the bottom of the league since he's arrived, and there's been no urgency to improve that unit. It's also troubling that Arians has struggled to recruit qualified assistants besides Todd Bowles.

John is the other Harbaugh. He might be looking for work come January. His passing offense is putrid though.

He'd be an interesting name. He's certainly deferred to a GM for a long time. He also has a background in Special Teams.
