Parker is a journeyman who has mostly been a practice squad guy with some active game experience sprinkled in here and there - never stuck with a team beyond one season.

I liked Sermon coming out of Ohio State as well.

Actually, if you are worried about losing a player it can still happen because they are only PS guys. Hence, which we are all well aware, if a team wants to add Wooten for example to their actual 53-man roster, they can... the Cardinals are simply a foster home for them right now

Yeah I'm still not sure about being able to protect some. Isn't that just for international guys? Otherwise why wouldn't they put Hayes on protected ps so he can come back this year?

They have to cut Hayes first before putting him in the PS, which might lead to a risk of losing him if someone claims him off the waiver.

I would see about adding alex leatherwood to the ps...

Fla.ed out massively with vegas but he was a 1st round pick and only has 1 year of nfl experience.
Dydes an OT, but vegas threw him to the wolves as a rookie and moved him inside to OG.
Change of scenery might help him focus

never mind.... Bears claimed him off waivers and realize that first round potential

How much do practice squad players get paid? Can we live on that amount?

Practice squad players make $11,500 per week or $207,000 for 18 weeks. Veteran players with over two years of experience will make a minimum of $15,400 per week or $277,200 for 18 weeks, and a maximum of $19,900 per week or $358,200. I don't know about you guys, but I sure can live on it.

Definitely a good wage for us schmoes! A bad wage for an NFL player, with no guarantees and the threat of losing that income immediately. Still, a good wage from the outside looking in.
And there is no math

Roughly $15-20k per week if they have 3 accrued seasons. $11,500 for those who haven't.

So $270-$360k for vets. Just over £200k for newbs. I think they can live on that.

You just knew they were trying to trade Sermon when all the stories started coming out about what an improved player he was when they were raving about a new RB they got this year. You just knew they were hoping they could trade Sermon and wouldn't have to release him.

Supposedly they love Price and Mason and Jeff Wilson has had a very good camp, and they're all of course behind Elijah Mitchell
