We have less playoff wins than the JAGS since the merger. That's just stunning. Incredible, generational incompetence.
You could argue, though, the Cardinals have been more playoff efficient than the Jags or the other teams listed. Think of all the times Detroit has made the playoffs, Texans, etc. The Cardinals don't get there often, but when they do they typically aren't one and done. Every single one of those teams and their fans would love to have a Super Bowl appearance.

Considering last season and the last 10+ years, this post doesn't hold up well.

I anticipate that we are looking for a pass-catching TE to be our second option in the passing game. His name is Zach Ertz.
If Ertz was a #2 then we wouldn't be talking about drafting a WR (unfortunately Keim may actually think we are set with Moore and Ertz). At this point in his career Ertz is more of a #3 but nothing wrong with having 2 pass catching TE's on field at the same time.

Not really. You shouldn't draft to fill a need this year; you should draft to build your roster for 2-3 years down the road. Even if we had a top 10 pick, it's unlikely given past history that we'd get a WR prospect who's immediately ready to step in on the outside and catch 80 passes for 800 yards or whatever.

There's a lot of strum and drang about drafting a WR high because we have a gaping hole where our Y receiver should be across from Hopkins, and right now Antoine Wesley is the guy slotted in there.

Take a look at the recent history of top TE picks and you'll see why it's even LESS likely we'll fill that hole with a rookie than if we'd just drafted a WR.

I'm just saying TE or WR, a #2 can be either. Kyle Pitts had an outstanding rookie year last year, don't always assume a WR will have a better rookie year than a TE. Likely probably won't go before 3rd round but he definitely has big play potential despite having a pedestrian 40 time. I don't even want Likely in first 3 rounds, my Round 1 - 3 picks would be OL, EDGE & CB but I can see ARZ shocking everyone by taking Likely.

He has 2 years left...IMO threatening to sit out now, is silly. Call his bluff and let him sit.
That is quite frankly stupid.

A decision needs to be made, do you want him for your long term quarterback or not.

If yes, you sign him ASAP.

In no, you trade him ASAP.

Making him hold out just pisses him off and eliminates the first option, and it delays the second option which is essentially holding back your rebuild by one year for no good reason.
