shoot after what he did in college I thought we had someone special. He looked amazing in college, burst through the hole...could out accelerate and cut everyone.

I knew we needed a better O line before any RB is productive....well we now have one.

The team hasn't taken a meaningful snap since the coaching changes and new acquisitions. We don't know what we have yet at o-line, a position at which we've been historically inept (no pro bowler since 1996).

And even with said improvements, no one knows how any of the top four RBs will produce.

Like it or not, the jury is still out on Williams, who has played a whopping 4 1/2 pro games in his career. Let's see if he can stay healthy and how he'll produce in what should be a more productive offense.

Pretty sure TJ believes in RW. Personally I have as much faith in the two draft picks.

Yeah. The jury deadlocked in the sentencing phase, and the judge declared a mistrial.

Now we have a new jury to perform a mini-trial.

we have carried 4 or more RBs for years.

The problem is the RBs they've carried haven't had any carries for years. Is there any position that has been more irrelevant in the NFL than RB for the Arizona Cardinals?

"Oh you're the new RB?" "Ok, listen, just stay out of the way while we're chucking it to Larry."

Ya weird. Many drafted, seldom used, often injured.

I really don't have much sympathy or hope for a dude who says he played scared, curled up on hits, gave up the ball without a care, or was grateful he got hurt again. He even said he dreaded getting the ball. That doesn't work for me.

You should only lose sympathy if he doesn't seek help in overcoming his obstacles. Many players admit publicly to some form of fear, anxiety, or trepidation when it comes to playing sports.

D-Backs 3B Eric Chavez once admitted that prior to winning six gold gloves, he was afraid of balls being hit to him at third base because he was scared of making a mistake. He challenged his fears and built up his mental toughness to the point where he had a damn good career in his mid-20s.

I guess people put athletes on very high pedestals and expect them to be impervious to mental flaws, which is about as flawed of logic as I've heard. If that were the case, sports psychologists wouldn't be raking in the dough from college and pro athletes.

A lot of athletes play scared but very few of them admit it....
