You don't just "pass" Tkachuk. You skate by him, give him an elbow to his face (pre face shield) and hope he doesn't spear you later in the game. My goal in watching NBCSN's hockey pre-game show is watching Roenick and Mike Milbury get into it, with Kathryn Tappan just standing by laughing. Milbury, of course, is the guy who exemplified the term, "Beating a guy with his own shoe."

They later interviewed Boston goalie Gary Cheevers who said he never heard the thing going on because he wanted to be the first guy back into the dressing room to start in on the beer! :D

Piss poor performance last night. But we knew that we wouldn't go undefeated for the rest of the season, but the loss to the Ducks hurt because they have been in a rut recently. We have Calgary next, which is always a tough game, but have the Kings and Blackwaks right behind that game, which could be winnable.

It's crazy though how competitive the Wild Card race is. Colorado has leap-frogged ahead of us with 70 pts:

Wild Card:
Stars - 66 GP / 73 pts
Wild - 67 gp / 70 pts
Avalanche - 67 gp / 70 pts
Coyotes 66 gp / 69 pts

For the last 10 games:

Stars - 10 pts
Wild - 13 pts
Avalanche - 13 points
Coyotes - 14 points

But the Stars have won 3 in a row.

Keep the momentum, doggies. :yotes:

Nice to have Grabs back. I hope he looks a little better than JD looked the other night. At least we're getting healthy, we just need the teams above us to quit winning every freakin' game.
