Sure, I’ve seen it a lot in blowouts. But this wasn’t a blowout by any stretch!
I don’t know.

I’m glad the Dbacks closed them out and didn’t let them gain any momentum for tomorrow.

What the hell is Maddon doing?? This is feeling like a slap in the face to the Dbacks... Kinda like the Cubs don’t take us seriously...
7-1 with the Cub's hitters is nothing. He prides himself on being unconventional, even to the point of absurdity. We'll take the win and move on.

Man Helton was such an incredible hitter... injuries kept him from hitting bigtime historic career numbers, but still a career .316 average and a career OPS of .953. Six seasons with 180 hits or more (two others at 178 and 177).

Sure Helton was good but his numbers were in Colorado before the humidor. They will always need an asterisk.

His power numbers were effected by it but his OBP on the road was still in the mid-.400’s throughout his prime. He was one of the best all around hitters of our era and should be a HOF’er.

Colors field was like a never ending slow pitch softball game for his entire career.

All I’m sayin is it’s hard to evaluate a player objectively given that fact.

Road numbers are fair but Coors field numbers are Monopoly money.

Is lamb ever going to do anything at bat? He just can't get anything started really.

Can’t even say Lamb is/was overrated... He’s never proven to be reliable at the plate. IMO, the longer we are forced to play him, the longer the mediocrity will remain... You simply can’t compete with an offensive black hole at third base...

And there he is again, living up to his name... striking out with the bases loaded and two outs.
Time to send his ass back to Reno!

Ok, we are through 3 innings, and Lamb has ended two of them with 5 LOB by striking out
