And it was a perfect shot by Goldy with Jay on 3B. Through the hole on the RF side to drive in the only run of the game so far.

We need to do that more often in close games.

And Souza drives in Goldy with a double. 'Don't know how he was able to get into 2B safely -- oh, no tag.

And Lamb up with a runner in scoring position and came through with a single through the hole on the left side as Souza was running.

I'm with Brenly. It's time for an electronic ball/strike caller in MLB.

As I've mentioned, I believe it is on its way. Otherwise, why would MLB authorize the TV fans to be able to see the location of each pitch vs. the umpire's call?

I wouldn't call it lucky. He was willing to poke it through the opposite side to score the run, just as Goldy did.

It's about time the D-backs are using common sense instead of stubbornly trying to hit everything into the air.
Looked to me like he hit it off the end of the bat.
