Plus he hasn’t pitched past 5 innings in his last three starts.

So I have hope for the offense tonight

He will be lights out tonight and leave in the 7th in a shut out.

Well maybe not as I've notice the dbacks offense hits like crazy every other game, so this is one of the games.

Well my first assignment of Harvey pitching lights out still stands. It's the dbacks that are making him look good.

It looks like, as well as Torey settling on a starting lineup for the stretch run except at Catcher . . . well, that may not be an exception any more.

Because Mathis seems to be the best handler of pitchers, his catching skills have become priority now that the rest of the lineup are above the Mendoza Line.

In addition to Mathis being the designated catcher for two pitchers in the starting lineup, today adds a third, Robbie Ray. With the left handed hitting Avila as a backup.

It is a long standing concept. Use your best catcher and handler of pitchers. Batting skill in the #8 spot is not the priority. I support it! The pitchers themselves who control half of the game include their catcher.

Robbie Ray is over 100 pitches, I wonder if he is coming to pitch the 6th or not.

I think I heard Steve say that The Freight Train is hitting over .400 since the All Star break.

Amazing that the home run was his first hit of the series. He was 0 for 3 in this game prior to the hr.
