OK then, why are they outplaying us? The Diamondbacks -- a team heretofore able to hold onto 1st place.

"A win"? We've lost the first two in a three game series and therefore lost the series.

We lost today because the league is catching up to our top reliever, who is a one-pitch pitcher because of his fingernail problem.

Where does that leave us going forward? I'm afraid your assessment is passive. Passivity does not beat opponents.
