It is all great so far. But we know this town will not really care until au is beaten. A great game against au and beating UCLA might work too.

I'm more easily pleased than I used to be. Sure I want to beat Arizona but having a good season with a run in the NCAA Tournament would make me happy as well.

What I'd like is to see is Bobby Hurley fielding a consistent winner.

Takes me back 41 years to March 15, 1981, as a #2 ranked NCAA tournament team, from which I am still wondering how it could ever happen. It just does NOT seem possible when you look at the lineups of both teams.

I loved that team. "Slamming Sammy" Williams and Johnny Nash..... not to mention the 3 future NBA stars.

I remember those guys! If my memory is right, we had Alton Listor, ,,,[deleted]... Sam Williams, Johny Nash, Fat Lever (?) and Byron Scott (?) I may have merged some teams together, I was just a kid watching a few games on a black and white TV, lol
