So, how bad was the spill that Harden took? I missed the last couple minutes so I missed it.

^He feel a long way but landed on his bum/hip, with the 7 day layoff he should be fine. He'll probably just end up a with a big bruise for a few days.

ASU is the top ranked team in the Pac 10.

ASU plays Washington State tonight and then plays Washington on Saturday.

Go Devils

This weekend is huge for the Devils. 1) Have to defend the home court; 2) Playing the team sitting atop the pac10 standings on saturday; and 3) two wins at home this weekend leads us to Oregon where ASU should pick up 2 more wins. This is a really big weekend guys! GO DEVILS!!!

WSU!??! God this team is impossible to predict.

Actually not shocked, WSU has some good shooters they're the type of team that against a zone can get hot. Thompson was obviously hot but they also have Rochestie and Harmeling that can get hot so they're a team that's better to defend man to man, they match up better against a zone.

Crazy first half to the Pac 10, UW goes from 8th last year to first, then blows it last night to UA.

I'm hoping ASU takes out UW Saturday.

Didn't get to see the game, but it sounds like it was a flukey 3 point shooting game, which was similar to earlier losses for the Devils. Mychal Thompson's kid on WSU hit his first 7 3's, and 8 total. That's tough to overcome.

I didn't see it either but Klay Thompson can really shoot it. When UCLA played WSU one of their points of emphasis was make him put it on the floor, don't let him catch and shoot.

Same with Harmeling, not sure how he did last night.

This ASU team reminds me of those UA teams from the late 80s. Seriously. It's a very sound team, but very susceptible to opponents with athletic guards who can shoot.

Don't get me wrong. I'm elated for the turnaround. But it's a little bittersweet because you can just smell tournament disappointment coming a couple months down the road. March is all about guard play. College basketball definitely rewards teams with strong backcourts.

That was scary, although he probably shouldn't have even played tonight with a concussion only five days ago.

Yeah, unfortunately he could be out for awhile...looked like it could be a neck injury. Concussions are a scary thing.

What was he doing a-playing tonight, and b- on the court that late in a not-close game?

A - he looked fine

B - There were already a couple guys fouled out, and Kuksis wasn't playing either.

C - because Jamelle McMillan is not any good.

He's getting a little better. He's at least shown some flashes this year. I don't think he'll ever be a star, but he can go out there and not embarrass himself.

Actually he's probably worse this year, 29% from 3pt land from a PG is horrendous. That's Shakur-Braxton bad.
