Jerry Jones can try and spin it anyway he wants, and the protective side of the media can attempt to put a cloak on it but to me it sure looked like the doctor on the sideline was dead against him going back into the game. Then you have the freaking manipulative owner Jerry talking to his head coach on the sideline while he is attempting to coach to probably override the doctors opinion and put Romo back in. This team has no leadership because Jones overrides decisions and creates doubt at so many levels. I think Dallas will come out strong against the Cardinals after this Redskin game but just one hit from the Cards to answer it and this Cowboy team will fold. Jones has a way of fragmenting everything about this team and it kills their ability to react or be sure of anything. The Cardinals are a totally different team in this aspect and always know where they stand as a whole towards the objective of winning

Agree 100%. I think many Dallas fans are ok today because they say well the boys are 6-2 no one called that. That's what they will spin. But as you just described those are the problems that concerned everyone before this season and they all surfaced last night in one game. The other thing that can't be explained away are all of the turnovers. Dallas is a turnover machine offensively.... that's what they do. Even Murray a guy that has MVP like numbers does not have the discipline to hold the ball. There were 2 other fumbles in that gem that wash coulda easily recovered and won in regulation. And one fumble was with weeden that Murray almost did not recover.

This am Garrett said on radio he would anticipate Romo playing Sun. This pm said he had to wait on test results to see; wouldn't speculate

Romo went for a CT Scan. The Cowboys are still waiting for the results.

CT-scan means they're looking more at the vertebrae (back bone) & NOT the contusion. Think of a 3D xray. #romo #cowboysnation

@ProFootballDoc Romo got a CT, not MRI. Looking at vertabrae not severity of contusion or possibility of internal bleeding?

i dont know if Jones told Garret to play Romo -- but that is the way Jerry made it look. It had to look that way to the players as well.

Cowboys Upcoming Schedule:

Home against Cards
In London against Jags
BYE

I could totally see a scenario where they bench him this week, tell him not to get on the plane next week, and rest up for the Giants on November 23.

I think it is worse than a contusion...their official quick diagnosis. I tend to agree with you here. it could be worse than a few games I fear. Coming into this season a lot of people felt romo could be lost for the year at some point because he wasn't ready to play.

Him coming back to finish the game is pretty usual. We saw him try to play with a broken pinky against the cards in 08 and it didn't end well there either. But no one knew it at the time...

Item 1) No, St Louis will not get this game on TV. Fox does not have a double header, and the Rams are on the road.

Item 2) Lorenzo, you don't live in Texas. I lived in Dallas (Farmers Branch actually) from childhood through high school and formed my allegiance at that time, but I don't live there anymore. Move on. Need an excuse? Two words: Jerry Jones.

Item 3) There are always $29 tickets available because they're lousy tickets. Pay $29 and stadium prices for food and drink for the pleasure of watching the game on TV (but a TV at the stadium). How much does Jones despise his fan base?

Completely agree with you, but then again if I'm the cowgirls coaching staff I'm not exactly worried that Romo will so much as get breathed on in this game. The Cards simply cannot get to the QB even with all out blitzes.

Trying to think off the top of my head the Cards sacks this year. 2 by Okafor, one by Jefferson (Kap), and that's all I got.

Carr wasn't touched, Foles wasn't touched, Manning wasn't touched. Eh, I got nothing.

We have 7 for the year.. Hard to believe.

Sure feels like only 2 or 3.

The stats are probably showing 1-2 slip and falls by QB where the first defender to touch him wins a sack.

The Cards beat my most hated team already... the Eagles. Dallas has fallen(or risen?) to my 4th most hated, Seattle and San Fran being 2 and 3.

If Romo doesn't play it still will be a tough game for the Cards even with Weeden at qb. I really think the Cowboys would have won the Monday night game if they had left Weeden in.

I think Foote, Calais, and Acho have one, also. One more somewhere but I don't want to look it up.

Actually I live in mansfield tx now close to where I'm from originally. I moved from Ohio about 18 months ago. Farmers branch that's cool. dfw has changed a lot in the last 10 years.

The stadium is wonderful but I don't care for the party pass I'd rather stay home. I'd recommend going to see high school games there those are better than watching the cowturds. But I wonder how much Jerry makes off of those games too??

Latest news from jerrah is that tony could play if he can handle the pain but could be a game time decision. But he was pretty evasive on details. Some local media types yesterday were speculating that romo was urinating blood....don't know where that was coming from but someone on here posted internal bleeding as well.

Garrett won't reveal anything to make AZ have to prep for both qbs as would fall in line with Garrett's history with injury reports. My guess is weeden will play.

This. As a Cowboys fan (Yeah, I know) I was pretty pissed when Romo talked his way back into the game. First of all, he wasn't having that great of a game. Second, Weeden did well enough to deserve to stay in. No need to risk getting Romo killed AGAIN and possibly injure him for the season. He was completely useless after his injury too. You could tell he was in pain. No zip on the ball, completely missing a blitz, etc.

I admire his toughness. For all the undeserved hate he gets he is one tough SOB. But there's a point where you have to tell him "no." Monday night was one of them.

Just roll out Weeden and see how it goes. It's probably going to be a loss either way. The week 1 Romo who was trying to get himself "right" after surgery is not the Romo I want to see against the Cardinals defense.

Weeden is probably terrible but I don't like the risk of losing Romo for an extended period of time. 6-2 gives them a bit of a cushion so I'd consider waiting until after the bye to bring him back. (AZ and Jacksonville.)

Glad to see that the Cardinals are doing so well. Born and raised a Cowboys fan but living in AZ so it's always good to see the home team do well. Obviously hoping for a Cowboys win, but I'm almost expecting the Cardinals to go 7-1 after this game. Perhaps they'll finally get some respect if they do.

Weeden is not terrible. I see this game similar to the Cards playing the 49ers with Stanton starting at QB and the Cards won. The Cowboys will be really up for the game after losing at home on Monday night. Vegas still has them a 4 point favorite.
