Try to give it a few episodes. Took a while for me to realize the brilliance.

Yeah...I was pretty much sucked right in, but it can take an episode or two to really grasp the humor and writing.

It is as Mulli says...brilliant.

Yeah, what's with Fox and good shows getting axed. They just do not know how to promote what they've got. How they screwed Firefly was hideous and Arrested Development getting moved all over the place killed it too. Let's hope there's a Family Guy revival (seriously, who decides to cancel Family Guy, Arrested Development and Firefly???) That would be a hell of a line up.

Same here. My wife used to beg me to turn off the ball game and watch this thing. Now that I'm hooked, no more new ones!! :( Thanks Hun.

But I think I'll get over it...if anyone wants a shoulder to cry on, I know an amazing analrapist...;)

just watched the series - so funny

all the characters are great - love the subtle references to prior shows (like when they find the sinkpit and mention there is a bunch of blue paint under the house - 'yeah, we got a guy like that')

i'll break into the GOB chicken dance on random occasions (just not around mexicans)

any of the families dialogue about anne is priceless

when tobias was taping himself to see how he sounded and all the gay double entendre is too much

wish i watched this when it was originally on

don't know what day it was on or what it was up against - but i don't think i ever even accidently flipped over it looking for something to watch

would you not push and advertise the crap out of you emmy winning show?! - c'mon!

I'd rather see the series come back. I don't think it's going to be very good....the strength of the show were all the subtle jokes that you onlu got because you knew all of the character quirks from watching it often. They can't do that in 120 minutes.

'Arrested Development' Film Planned?

Actor Jason Bateman has confirmed plans are underway for a movie version of cancelled TV sitcom Arrested Development. A rumored meeting between the star and series creator Mitch Hurwitz late last year fuelled speculation a big-screen adaptation of the cult show was in the pipeline. And now the Juno star has confirmed the cast has received calls from executives asking if they would be interested in reviving their roles once the ongoing Hollywood writers strike is over. He tells E! News, "I can confirm that a round of sniffing has started. Any talk is targeting a post-strike situation, of course. I think, as always, that it's a question of whether the people with the money are willing to give our leader, Mitch Hurwitz, what he deserves for his participation. And I can speak for the cast when I say our fingers are crossed."

Wait, no way. Always Sunny in Philadelphia cured me of that. :)

So get abomb to give you copies of How I Met Your Mother this weekend.

I watched the extended pilot and the 2nd episode and frankly I was expecting more comedy thus far. Hoping it gets better.

Feel bad enough about asking him for a ride to the game.
