Very nice. I think only other Cardinal fans can understand us.

sat in sweat devil stadium from 89 to 95 when i moved to california i started a post earlier this week about having paid my cardinal dues:Dand you bet i paid that premium any relief from that scorching sun was worth it,

absolutely the worst stadium in pro football hands down and anybody who only became a season ticket holder only after air conditioned uop opened up is really only half a fan in my eyes

you had to experience sun devil to endure the ordeal of it and mostly watch your team play terribly to call yourself a real fan

Now from all of us Cardinal fans, let me ask a question. If the Cardinals win the Super Bowl, will they be underdogs in next season’s home opener?

you bet we win it all and it will have been a fluke we need about three or four lombardis to be taken seriously by the media

but then again i don't much care for media hacks anyway

Heck yes, it's our way. :)

Great article, I get tired of reading the SOS --weak, transplant, bandwagon fans. Carddan says it all....you must be a Cardinal fan to understand a Cardinal fan. Those we manage to convice by hook or crook, we shall call them.............Converts :), not bandwagon.

I used to call myself an idiot for doing that.

Nothing was worse than SDS. Sitting in the corner of the North Endzone where the sun was beating on you for the first 3 quarters was miserable.

Thank god for UofP, but at least I can say I experienced hell multiple times a season except the game in '98 vs SD..that was heaven :D

LOL!

I remember those killer hot games; one game it was blistering hot, and there were a couple of puffy clouds floating around, when one managed to drift in front of the sun and cover it for a few minutes, everyone in the NEZ cheered!

We could be down by 20 points and still truly enjoy the last 5 minutes of the game when the sun would hide behind the west side of the stadium.

As weird as it sounds, sometimes I actually miss that dump. That was dues paying time, ladies and gentleman.

I kinda miss those times a little. I remember how much fun it would be when we could see at one least person (though not much more) in each section.

Good times.

We had plenty of room to stretch out, that's for sure. Tailgating was much easier back then as well. We could pretty much take up as much room as we wanted. And the beer lines...

It's a small price to pay to see 70,000 Cardinal fans screaming in air conditioning.

not me and i'm not ashamed to say that i sold my cowboys homegame tickets one year to some stupid cowgirl fans cause i had the flu and it was the one game that always sold out when we were in the nfc east

so i watched it with a 102 temperature from my apartment made enough money off that one sale to pay for me and my wife's season ticket package, like 300 bucks a ticket or something

we sat in a certain section i can't remember with about twenty other people i used to work with and they heckled those cowgirl fans unmercifully and i think we won the damn game too:D
i did actually feel bad about it but puking in a bucket will change your perspective real quick

What I like about Brighteye's articles is that they are from the fan perspective. We get the game breakdown perspective from the overstuffed egos of the normal reporters all the time. Jo Sparkes tell's it like a true fan!

Except her grammer is alot better! ;)

I read another article from the same website. The writer lost all credibility when I got to the paragraph below:
A way for the Cardinals to get after McNabb is with scheme versatility and it starts with DT Bertrand Berry. Berry must win his battle against center Jamal Jackson and anticipate his cadence in order to get off a good first step to disrupt the Eagles' protection schemes.
