Pretty good first year for Melton, especially considering he played outside.

Man Garrett Williams only allowed a 73.9 QB Rating. In year one (in limited snaps) he gave up 79.6 QB Rating. Pretty damn good, young CB. Starling Thomas was the worst CB allowing a 100 QB Rating. Murphy-Bunting only an 84 QB Rating. Pretty solid CB room overall.

I’m looking forward to melton taking a step forward next season. Has the physical tools. Showed ability to be in the right place, now has to take next step and make plays on the ball. Otherwise he’s just the second coming of Tommy knight.

DeJean is being overrated based on the SB game.
The chump actually had a better year in coverage and that's without the philly pass rush.
DeJean allowed a 66.2 comp% on 68 attempts for an 80.1 rating. 51 tackles with 13.6% missed tackle rate
The Chump allowed a 65.4 comp% on 54 attempts for a 91.5 rating. Also had 51 tackles with a 12.1% missed tackle rate.

I still have high hopes for max. Tough to be a shut down corner your rookie year. You add a somewhat respectable pass rush and he’s going to take it to the next level

That was a problem for the entirety of the DBs last year.

This is why I'm meh over Samuel Jr.

Injury issues aside it's taking snaps away from development pieces. Only way it makes sense to me is if they were to trade SMB as a bad scheme fit. Or they lost faith in STV.
