Yes it will. That's my first step. There will be a few ads, but no where near what is on it now. You all will be happy with the changes I make in the beginning. Hope to have the members that haven't posted on here for awhile back posting again. We will see how it all plays out.

Ads are fine. Obviously you gotta keep the site up and running. :)

But Keebali just went overboard IMO.

Sweet. Good luck!!!!

Oh, and when it comes to downtime, please be cognizant of the upcoming NBA draft on Thursday when implementing the server switch!

Awesome, I look forward to it becoming better. This is already the best place on the web but that was mostly the players, not really the owners. I am confident you guys can make it better.

Crap, I hope to be done with the move way before that. If it gets close, then I will wait on the move.

How do we know this isn't a hoax?

I wouldn't put it past those crazy dancing Israelis.

You must be registered for see images attach

Ha. Not a hoax. We are the real deal. We have been wanting this site for a long time and finally got it

We are definitely going to try to push all the college sports forums and get more activity out of them. We also have an idea to start up a prep section for all the high school kids/parents to talk about the kids/teams. We have a lot of ideas to get more activity out of this site and look forward on seeing how this place grows!! :head2head:

Both are great idea - only a few of us post there now, would love for more activity

Congrats. Hopefully we can get some pre-season in depth articles. There are many good writers on this site and dedicated fans who want to get more in depth access to players and coaches all season.

Maybe you'll be able to work on enabling that.

Not sure where to ask, but what do the username colors mean? I get Admin, and Mod, but what of the others?

<------------------------------------------ Blue means your posts have low ratings. I am assuming that at least. :D

Really, it is because we are Contributors.

Bally’s Sports needs to go away
I was a contributor for several years, and I hope the site gets back to the level where I'm comfortable contributing again. I'd had an issue where they decided one year to auto-bill me after a couple years of not allowing it. (I don't believe I ever did allow it). There was no option on the site to disable it, and I ended up having to tell PayPal to reject it. The site continued to try to rebill me, and never offered me anyway to contact anyone. It was frustrating. Since then, I've been around a lot less.

Hopefully, this is a great sign of good things to come.

That's the plan. Not sure if I can get anyone close to the players/coaches but will try for sure!

Yea, it looks like the contributor payment was recurring. We won't have it setup like that. It will be a one time payment for the year, and it will email you saying your time is almost up, but it will never automatically take money out unless you did it manually again.

How about an option to pay by check, money order or such. I never did like being pushed into using PayPal.
