Trent Richardson: the Browns lost their leading rusher in Hillis. They'll take the Running Back and look for one of the WRs with their second 1st round pick. I can't see a team with no offensive weapons taking a CB when they had a top five Defense in 2011.

The Browns luck at drafting running backs is on par with the Cardinals selections of offensive tackles. So what do they do? Draft another running back!
Hope the Browns & Cardinals break through and find a solid contributor this time around.

Tannehill's going here if no one trades into the #3.

I don't see Tannehill as an improvement over McCoy to warrant the #4 overall pick in the draft. They'd be better off taking Brandon Weeden in the 2nd round instead.

If you are going to stoop to drafting an aggie Weeden is the better choice.

Maybe, but Weeden would have to be taken with their other 1st, because he might not last.

And do I sense some hostility towards Aggie's! ;)

Claiborne at cb because how many times can you draft a shut down corner? Running backs are much easier to find and not nearly as important in the NFL today.

That's true and is one of the reasons I like Kirkpatrick or Gilmore for the Cards but the Browns already have the #2 pass defense in the NFL. If they go defense they have to address the run game because their run D was ranked 30th and teams just ran the ball on them. 31st in opponents rushing attempts.

Meanwhile Beanie Wells had almost as many yards rushing as the Browns top 3 Rushers combined last season.

They have to play in games and weather where ball control is essential to winning (Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cincinnati). Those teams are not winning games because of their aerial attack, so while Claiborne doesn't have the same impact as he might for a team in the AFC East. The Browns need to be able to grind it out with those other teams; Richardson is the no-brainer here, I think.
