Was it the Pacers that gave him a Promise? I thought it was like somewhere in the 25th to 30th team?

I think Roko Leni-Ukic is a possibility... the team needs a back-up PG and a shooter and Ukic can now play the SG position with added weight and he also gained an inch.

Hehe Garcia could be a good selection here as well. I was hoping he dropped to #21 but I'm liking Chris Taft right now, he's dropped this far...

I'm sure the Pacers could go any direction, but after losing Reggie I think Garcia has a shot here.

I would't be surprised if they went with hometown kid Sean May, whose father played for Bobby Knight' s undefeated '76 team, or Francisco Garcia to replace Reggie Miller as someone mentioned above.

The Pacers select Francisco Garcia G/F Louisville.

Francisco Garcia G/F Louisville: Has Point Forward skills, another excellent 3PT shooter, excellent in the steal/shotblock department for a wing, has the ability in a few years to play the Point in a pinch ala a Joe Johnson
KEY STATS: AST 3.9 BLK 1.5 3PTM 71 - COMPARISON: T. Prince

I agree he is almost a carbon copy.

I would say that Garcia is a better ball handler and distributor than a young Reggie Miller. Miller would have run Garcia right out of the gym though.
