It's a little too late to pick the Super Bowl winner now Casablanca...I'm sorry man, but it's just not fair to everyone else who had their picks right.

I'm only picking from the two (PHI & IND) that I had there from the start- they just happen to still be in it. No one would mind if I had Seattle and KC in the Super Bowl and I chose between them.

Yeah, but you've had a chance to see two games by Indy, and obviously they are playing out of their minds, and no one would pick Philly over Indy.

Just not fair this far into it.

Conversely- who expects Indy to get past NE other than me?

Oh well. I'll just have to settle for my moral victory when my choice wins the SB since I'm eliminated from the game.

Don't sell yourself short. You're actually tied for third--with NEM and seven others--at 9 points each. And since some of those folks have the Rams or Packers picked to win the NFC Championship, ot the Titans to win the AFC title, you know they're gonna drop back.

On the other hand, the seven of us with 8 points each are breathing down your neck. ;) So you'd better hope that the Patriots and Eagles can both win at home this weekend (like me, since they're also my picks as conference champs).

Good luck!

If you read up a few posts, I was too late in changing my picks so therefore you can count me out. unless of course Indy does win.... which I may still be out folks without the SB points.

Wow I am in like 63rd, the only people worse than me didn't pick any teams.

I thought it was a pick the losers contest. We should re-pick. :D

Andikrist:

Let me be the first to congratulate you. Alone in first place with 15 points after the conference finals--and as the only participant picking the Panthers to win the NFC Championship--you've clinched this thing. Since you've picked New England to win the Super Bowl, and nobody has picked Carolina to win, there's no way for anyone to catch you.

The rest of us are playing for second (or worse). Nice job.

I, however, am the poster child for the fast-starters-finish-poorly category. I had all the picks the first week, then 1 out of 4, then 0, so of course, I'll have the SB wrong too. Yikes! :D

Thank you, thank you...

... I'd like to thank the academy, my agent, my lawyer, my beautiful wife (wait - I'm single) - I mean my lady FWB's, and of course - all the "little people".
If this thing would have been for money, I would have blown it.
Do i get a prize?
I'm just a step above the ditzy receptionist that picks winners based on their "cute uniforms" and wins the office pool....

Congrats man, I'm shocked that out of 66 entries (or however many there were) that there wont be a tie at the end.

Nice job guys!

Mike:

The "shock" is that the third-seeded Panthers, after spanking the Cowboys in the wildcard round, beat the #2 seed Rams and the #1 seed Eagles, on the road, in subsequent weeks.

As they say at the racetrack, a longshot came in. And Andikrist was the only guy holding a win ticket. Kudos to him for riding Carolina all the way to the NFC Championship, but that's why there wasn't a logjam at the end of this thing.

Yeah, he is. But it's a shame--for the rest of us, at least--that Andikrist didn't pick the Panthers for the Super Bowl, as well. Then somebody else would still be in this thing... ;)
