Ha, classy wasn't the problem, I expected the jackassery and you certainly didn't disappoint. I got bored about a paragraph into your manifesto over a meaningless regular season win. Remember, since you're still an elite program, a win over a lowly ASU program shouldn't be enough to make authoritative proclamations about U of A basketball being back. Either way, I knew it was coming.

I'd at least like to root for another in state team, and a member of the Pac if most of their fans on the board had some class and didn't act like a bunch of giant douches after every win. I am amused how many UofA fans think this win changes their season, and now they have a shot at getting an at large bid to the tourney...

You have an RPI of 73, you lost by double digits to San Diego St and OKlahoma, got blown out at home by BYU by 30, and beat some team named Limpscomb by 1 in overtime, needing a last second shot...

The only way UofA has any shot of making the tournament is to win out and finish #1 in the PAC by atleast a game or two over 2nd place...

Talk all you want about last night, but like I have said, it was clear UofA played out of their damn minds.. (for the season they shoot 44%, shot 52% last night...average 14 TO a game, last night had 8 until a couple late TO that didn't matter....shoots 72% FT, last night an INCREDIBLE 86%)

And the Devils played short handed and had their 2nd worst overall performance of the season.. The shots were there, they just didn't go down last night...

I think this game is much more of an aberation, than a sign of things to come.. congrats on being a game above .500 for the first time since before Thankgiving, but forgive us if we are not ready to crown your asses just yet...

And for the record the Parrom play was dirty, it was not the foul, it was what happend at the end and after the foul.. Watch the replay.. once he has a grip on Abbotts head he THEN YANKS back, and once they land he shoves him into the basket.. Don;t give me that crap "he is from the bronx!", that is such BS.. regardless of where you are from, it was a dirty classless play, and the fact that UofA fans are fiercly defending him is no surprise really....

I live in Florida and have DirectV so I don't get Foxsports AZ. Oh and actually do things at 9:30 PM on a Saturday night. I read the box, checked the gamecast on my phone, watched the national highlights, and read the corresponding stories. Would you like to enlighten me on what I missed by not watching the game and how my opinion is less because of it? I am thinking the final score said more then enough.

Actually if anything I am able to acknowledge reality. Arizona in its current state is not an "elite" team. And yes I was pretty sour that we lost 5 in a row, even though it was the programs lowest point the past two years with those two jokes of coaches. So yeah you better believe after I hear crap for two years about how "ASU is on the rise" and "5 game losing streak" I am going to be rubbing your faces in the fact that we not only won, but we manhandled you at home.

I am not saying its anything more then a regular season win over our home rival after five game losing streak (Wait....that is big), but hopefully its a jumping off point. And yes I ma going to celebrate whupping that azz every time all the time. Maybe one day it will become common place and ho hum to bash ASU's head in time and time again. But right now? I'm pretty happy about it

I root for Arizona bottom line end of story. When ASU is playing out of conference I will quietly cheer for them to represent the conference but otherwise I want them to get beat over and over and over again.

So no worries about you cheering for us. We don't need it. And I don't need your "kudos" (seriously who uses "Kudos" and "Douches" within a sentence of each other?) I would rather laugh at you when we win.

I do like Sun Devil Scott though. Thank you for calling it like it is and not qualifying the win, like your bretheren. That's how you give "kudos"

I find it hilarious to see virtually no UofA fans on here lately, I suppose it makes sense, they are in the midst of their worst season in decades, meanwhile ASU is in first place in the PAC-10 and is surprise team of the conference...

Tomorrow in Tempe, the Sun Devils look to extend their winning streak over UofA.. the last time the Cats beat the Devils? Feb 23rd, 2007...

Apparently there is one person who believes that UofA will smoke the devils on Saturday.....Daniel Bejarano in an article on AZcentral.com talks about how Boetang will not handle Williams down low, and they will be able to get in the paint and score at will..

This expert anaylsis comes because he has watched "a couple minutes of ASU before changing the channel"

In the end, ASU should win tommorrow, they have the nations BEST defense, and UofA, has a pretty ineffeciant offense, and THAT combination is going to be the story of the game...

My official prediction:

Thanks for breaking it down for me Chris. I didn't realize I couldn't talk trash about the result of the game because I didn't watch it live. I have since watched the replay. Looked like a hard foul to me and (to me) it looked like he was actually holding him up by his jersey and made sure he had his balance, right before sending him into the support with his forearm Hard foul that was propely called in the game and really much ado by a bunch of ASU fans who needed something to complain about along with McMillian missing the game.

Parroms response was classic too. Abbott was ready to throw down and Parrom just laughed at him. I imagine you would have prefer he responded and started a brawl?

Besides who needs to watch the full game when there is this....
