At what point did you guys realize Wilks was unfit to coach?

Had a funny feeling since day 1. Never expected this abomination. The absolute most pathetic head coaching hire this off-season by far....like not even close. And it was us.

Call me Crazy. But I'd go after Lincoln Riley!!! Young. Hungry. Offensive guru . Calls his own plays. If the Rams Can get a young guy. I say we go for it. It cant be any worse than what we have. We have a combination of Buddy Ryan....Whisenhunt and Chili Dog. Stubborn. Unimaginative and thinks his system works.

I don't think unfit for coaching, just not one that will be very successful, mediocre at best. Felt that way during training camp with the DNA comments.

Possible he turns it around, I wasn't a big Tony Dungy fan either, but he did alright.

I so want these guys gone too. But I don't know if M.Bidwill can do it. I am not sure how much $ he will lose by letting these idiots go. I just can't believe this is happening...

if he drafts like Denny Green we might want to keep him on another year

When he screwed up the end of yesterday's game and then doubled down and said he would do the same thing if he could do it over again.

This. I get that he was trying to protect the rookie QB and put it on the leg of the veteran, but ... dayum, the rookie had the hot hand.

I somehow missed the 'bricks' reference. Can you explain it to me, please?

Don't know the whole story, but something about Wilks bringing bricks into the locker room to show them everything is built one brick at a time. Or something to that effect, lol.

Dave Pasch.

I see that as an explicitly trying to disrespect previous staff even before the games began. Still wonder what made them say that.

who said that?

I wish Mitch was posting here. Would like to see him defend the indefensible from his Saint Wilks.

I was never "in love" with the hire...I thought he might be Jeff Fisher 50/50 bad...never imagined he'd be Rod Marinelli 0-16 bad.

Only thing that scares me is potential 0-16. Don't want to go 0-16 especially for Rosen's psyche and for Fitz and P2.

If it comes to 0-10, can the head coach and let McCoy takeover (if the dude makes it that far) and see if team can avoid 0-16 at all costs.

Bears game for me. Though I think it was pretty obvious the first two games, it was ironically the closest game of the season to that point that confirmed his and the staffs alarming ineptitude.

At the start of training camp, he gave every player on the team a brick with their name painted on it. The message was, "We're building a foundation here, brick by brick. Everyone needs to do their part..." etc.

You don't make a foundation out of bricks.
