AUBURN — The spring has nearly ended for Auburn football. The Tigers are set to close out their annual spring practice session with A-Day on Saturday. (Noon CT)
Hugh Freeze and his staff have had plenty of time to build up their current roster for the upcoming 2025 season, and assess what needs to change moving forward, the general public will get their first look at the Tigers Saturday afternoon.
"I've kind of enjoyed the format," Freeze said Thursday of the spring. "Lot of teaching, lot of walkthroughs and not as much on the field hitting. ... I really am excited about the attitude I see, the accountability that I see. I think that shows up in a lot of different matters, whether it be the academic report of the disciplinary things.
"To this point, our kids, I think, have been accountable to buying into a standard that we said we would like to meet. Really pleased with a lot of things heading into our final practice Saturday."
As A-Day gets underway, tune in here for live in-practice updates from the Montgomery Advertiser's coverage at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

An hour later, the program will open up a "Fan Fest" on the campus green at 10 a.m. outside Jordan-Hare Stadium. Gates will open at 11 a.m., coinciding with an alumni flag football game.
At 11:30 a.m., Auburn will hold its pre-game Tiger Walk tradition, and after practice, it'll hold a fan day event from 1:30-3 p.m., with players and coaches available for autographs and photo opportunities.
Auburn's A-Day practice will be free admission, with seating available in the lower bowl of Jordan-Hare Stadium, except for the north end zone due to the video board construction.
Saturday’s practice won't be televised, but a 30-minute recap show will air later in the spring on ESPN networks and online.
Saturday's practice will be broadcast live on WLWI FM (92.3) in Montgomery and WGZZ FM (94.3) in Auburn. The radio call can also be streamed online. Here are the announcers:
