I've been listening in early...since about 10 till 3pst...These reporters are funny. Bagging on the Alabama job, etc.

I was very impressed with Russ Grimm in his interview. He definitely seems like a man with a plan. I'd be extremely happy if we hire him.

Blue collar no nonsense approach. Would definitely command respect from the players. Could see him kicking ass. Reminds me of Ditka.

At least he didn't talk a lot about the Pittsburgh job, like Whisenhunt did. He's definitely the better of the two Pitt coaches.

"Will coach for food" <---- I bet!! :D

I really like Grimm as a candidate...if the rest of this interview goes like the bit you posted, He and Chow will be my two favorites.

anything about realizing that the Cards are built to pass to set up the run instead of the other way around?

Sounds like a solid candidate.

We all have our favorites, but it's pretty clear there are a lot of qualified guys out there, and we'll end up with one.

He also said that he is picking only certain teams to interview. Said its a two way street and he is also interviewing us to see if the fit is right. Was positive on the Bidwills. Said he has known the Bidwill family and Mr B since the 1980's. Was positive on their involvement in the community and said the only thing they need is more W's in the win column.

Thanks Jim.

Grimm comes across as a real hard ass and I like it. He isnt my number one, but I like his attitude.
