Second, I love Jay Roach's work. Will he be involved?

Third, I think the new perspective will be a good idea. The best jokes seemed to be involving Dr. Evil in some way.

Fourth, I never saw third film, I don't think I missed anything.

Fifth, well there is no fifth, I just wanted to see what came after point four. I can count! Take that high school guidence guy!

Ha ha. Maybe. I don't know why I'm so excited about this. I hate movies, but I enjoy the Austin Powers movies, for some reason.

I think people get fed up with movies after "3." I would expect people to make snide comments about SpiderMan 4 too. We'll see. I just don't like comedies....laughing is not fun.

I just watched "Austin Powers in Goldmember" the other day. SOOO underrated. The three Austin Powers movies came out in 1997, 1999 and 2002. We are due for another one and Mike Myers has hinted a fourth is coming. Probably in 2009 or 2010.

Movies like the Austin Powers flicks are intended to be stupid. I think you pretty much should know what to expect, it either makes you laugh or it doesn't. I think some people watch films like these so they can be negative and degrading towards those who enjoy this sort of humor. $675 million worldwide speaks for itself. If they are making a fourth, there is OBVIOUSLY a demand for it. Those who don't like it should stay away. I understand morbid curiosity, but if that type of humor doesn't do it for you, why torture yourself?

Bündchen the Fourth Austin Powers Girl?

The Boston Globe is reporting a rumor that supermodel Gisele Bündchen, who has played roles in The Devil Wears Prada and Taxi, is being considered for the female lead in Mike Myers' fourth "Austin Powers" movie, following in the footsteps of Elizabeth Hurley, Heather Graham and Beyoncé Knowles.

The newspapers says the 27-year-old Brazilian beauty already has been given the script, and her agent will meet soon with Myers and director Jay Roach.

About a year ago, Myers was quoted as saying that the next "Austin Powers" film would be done entirely from Dr. Evil's point of view. It is unknown if that is still the case.

I'm not thrilled they're doing another, but I do like Roach's work and, like mentioned above, is a good change from the "... MOVIE" spoofs that seem to keep popping up (and I HATE the idiots responsible for financing that dreck).

According to Deadline Hollywood Daily, Mike Myers has started writing Austin Powers 4 which will be a homage to his father. As Myers has previously said, this fourth installment of the super spy spoof movie series will focus on Austin's arch-villain Dr. Evil, who was based on Blofeld of the Bond films.
