I totally agree. Thats a film that could benefit from a remake IMO.
But who's gonna be Yul Brynner as the gunslinger?
Who's bald, serious looking, not too old,not too young and has a legit screen presence?

EDIT: Ok,after doing a little research and listening to what some are saying,
here are a few guys i think might be able to pull it off as The Westworld Gunslinger in 2012.
Daniel Craig
Robert Patrick
Hugo Weaving

????

Howie Mandell????

Why not go for somebody that looks a bit like Yul? I don't know the guys name but I've seen him a few times. He plays one of the front desk security guys in 50 First Dates. If you can remember the scene, he's the guy that plays opposite of the guy from the Larry Sanders Show (and pretty much every Sandler movie). To me, this guy looks like a Hawaiian Yul Brynner.

Lethal Weapon is way too soon IMO. I would rather see a "next gen" type approach. I just don't see me liking anybody better then Glover/Gibson combo.

I would LOVE to see a West World remake. In fact, they tried to do this years ago starring Arnold way before he got into politics and was still the hot action start. It never got off the ground for some reason.

Wild Bunch? I don't think I care either way.

You can make a different Wild Bunch. But, NO ONE will make a better one.

William Holden? Sam Peckipah? Cannot beat that.

I would love to see a "Warriors" remake. Not sure how original they can keep it, with today's technology and all. It would be cool if they flipped it a little bit, with some fine sister skyping/blogging everywhere the Warriors go and what they are up too. Have them go across the country instead of just the city, with one of the hottie rival gangbangin chicks planting a GPS on the Warriors, it could be good. But then again, I could just be in a very good mood right now. :D
