They want to attack between the tackles to set up the play-action passing game. Running back. Edgerrin James is still adjusting to following a fullback Terrelle Smith into the hole,

I think people misunderstand what running attack Whisenhunt plans to use. I saw a lot more of the Willie Parker style of slashing runs inside as opposed to smash mouth running in preseason. I wonder if we'll see Arrington and Shipp in the role of Willie Parker more than we think with Edge being the Bus.

I don't agree with a lot of this. We aren't going to be a heavy running team early on, but rather will mix it up, get a lead and grind it out as the game wears on and the DL is tired.

He thinks Shipp returns kicks. That SF will be better in the field position game. Why? Rackers is putting them in the endzone and Barr is a better punter than Player. I don't get it.

There was a lot I shook my head on too. How often have you know the Cards receivers to get a ton of separation? You can see them make great plays in traffic, and Boldin running through everyone, but not separation.

Calling run plays at the right time will be critical because Whisenhunt is not giving QB Matt Leinart a lot of freedom to audible and check out of a run play -- so the head coach must call a good game.

No lie but this is one of the first things that concerns me since Wiz has come on board. I think not allowing Matt to audible kills one of his greatest attributes. Matts ability to read the defense pre snap is the key to some of the biggest plays during his time at USC. Maybe its the type of thing Wiz will loosen the reigns on as he gets more comfortable with Matt.

Or maybe I am just guilty of trying to speed up the Matt Leinart is Peyton Manning expressway
