Not so. He has called us to a record of 8-1 so far, with the only loss being to Peyton Manning when he had a hot day. He was without our #1 QB that day, and lost his backup early in the third quarter. Even the third string guy had us within 4 points into the 4th quarter. He won today with his backup finishing the game. What more do you want from the guy.

BA likes to get a lot of production from his tight ends, but they have short changed him all year. He lost his complimentary back to Ellington, leaving Ellington pretty much alone to carry the workload. He has lost his starting QB twice now, maybe for the year this time, yet he is atop the entire NFC. Even when his starting QB came back, he couldn't make all the throws in at least two different games, and probably still was not able to make all of them today. What part of Good Job do you not recognize?

BA has as much already admitted that he has not been calling great games. I understand that he'll take the criticism for a team that has not been executing. The best thing that BA has done is that he has created a team that flat out won't quit. That was sorely missing here, no matter who was our HC in the past. This post is simply about the frustrations of watching this offense struggle. No one is more frustrated than BA himself. When we get to the playoffs, this offense will need to score more for us to play in February.

HAHA if Arians offense has been "ho-hum" what in the world was Whisenhunt's offense during his tenure with the Cardinals? I'll give you a hint, it sucked and was predictable.

Sorry, but when we had Warner, Whiz's offense was much better than our current group. Would have loved to see what Whiz could have done with CP after Warner retired.

We spent a top 10 first round pick on the supposedly best interior lineman in the draft. If Cooper isn't ready, say so. Otherwise, get the dude out there. We can certainly be content with 8-1, but unless the offense starts to improve, success might be short lived. We haven't smoked anyone, so it is pretty amazing we're 8-1.

We just smoked the rams

couldnt run for a lick, had to start running WR and RB screens just to get short yargade. I didnt find ANYTHING wrong with the playcalling.

Some people are cardinals fans because it gave them something to complain about so I guess when we are 8-1, you have to draw straws and fling spaghetti to find your complaints.

Oh you mean when Whiz had two pro bowl probably HOF WRs at the prime of their career, a HOF QB and a very good running back the offense was better than it is now? I'd expect it to be, but to be clear the 2014 Cardinals would run the 2008 and 2009 teams out of the building. Know how I know? Those teams were undisciplined and the 2014 team is a more well coached group.

You want to know what a Ken Whisenhunt offense looks like? Look at the 2010-2012 Arizona Cardinals and the 2014 Titans.

No problem with the play-calling, just HORRIBLE production in run-blocking from the O-Line... to have someone like Ellington with so much talent constantly getting hit before he can even get going is getting OLD. Pass blocking has been pretty good, run blocking sucks. IF they ever get that right, we will be scoring 30-40 points a game IMHO

Palmer would have been injured a lot earlier than now.

Whiz didn't take the Detroit because he would have been the HC and had little or nothing to do with personnel. I suspect that didn't sit well with him.

I am sure PaCardFan is still POed at Penn State for dumping JoePa too. Not that this Franklin guy is doing any better than JoePa would have. In the 2 years Bill O'Brian was at the helm at PSU he got more out of less than either JoePa or Franklin would have. Bad day for PSU when O'Brian left.

Who said I'm not enjoying 8-1?? The point I'm making is that once we get into crunch time, this O will not be able to get us to the next level. The NFL rules are stacked against the Offense. In order to get to the next level, you better be able to score. Currently, we're not able to do that.

So we're in first place at 8 and 1 and you want to moan about the ride. OK.

You're the guy who gets the front seat on Splash Mountain then gets off complaining that he got wet.

You actually believe that the NFL rules are stacked AGAINST the offense?

No, I meant to say the opposite. The rules are stacked against the defense. Which makes it even more frustrating to watch our O struggle.

Nope, never been a PSU fan. Yes, bad day for PSU when O'Brien left.

We smoked the Rams?? Not sure what game you watched. This post is not about our overall team, it's about how ineffective our OFFENSE is. We were in 3rd & long all day. If not for our defense, we don't win that game. My point is that do you really think that Rodgers, Wilson, Manning, Brady, etc will turn the ball over 3 times in the last 7 minutes of the 4th quarter? I think NOT. This post wasn't intended to be a referendum on whether I'm enjoying our 8-1 record. Once you put yourself at the top of your Conference, you have to set your sights on the SB. It's my opinion, that we will struggle to keep up with the offensive juggernauts out there. This is all about lifting the Lombardi trophy IN OUR STADIUM!

I dont know if not for our D we dont win as we took the lead offensively before the route started.

But a blowout is a blowout.

All I know is that I've gotten $1.20 Burger King chicken sandwiches every week this season. I'm cool with the offense.

(For you out-of-towners, Phoenix area BKs have their chicken sandwiches for $1.20 day of game & day after, every time the Cardinals score 20 or more points--win or lose)

That is not true-----the only thing that BA admitted to was that the Philly Coach came up with something he had not expected or seen on tape, and that he had to scramble during the game in order to get it figured out. He did so on the fly, and won that game too. The only thing that has frustrated BA, (or anyone else around here this year), is people like you who still have more loyalty to the type of coach that BA has forever replaced and made a moot point of. Do you not remember that it was Haley, (not Whiz), who called the plays in '08 when we went to the SB?
